Popped in for lunch with my wife. We went for the roast, she had chicken i went for beef. It arrived after awhile, good presentation, flavour good portions and the Yorkshire pudding was massive. Service was very good, team were friendly and approachable. One the owners even took the time to chat.

Nice environment, super and attentive staff, Fillet steak was crucified. Small portions for the cost of the meal. Wine per glass extortionate at £11.50 per medium glass. Don’t think we would return as there are other restaurants around with better cost/ food.

What a gorgeous restaurant! We needed a refuge from the rain and some good food between wedding events locally and this really was the best choice. Beautifully designed, chilled atmosphere with such a friendly welcome! We enjoyed a super meal (the chicken satay was a real highlight!), some good wine, and were never rushed. Thank you so much for letting us enjoy the afternoon and overstaying our table!

The food is always lovely, our first Sunday roast was no different

Great atmosphere, good food, great staff but the stairs down to the loos were slippery as was the floor going into the ladies & the main door to the loos was propped open by large bleach & cleaning products reducing privacy. Considering how beautiful the main restaurant is maybe time for some TLC for the loos!

Excellent bar and restaurant, brilliant informed efficient and friendly service and both the owners made an effort to chat despite being very busy. Lively place but live music was not overpowering and noise levels fine. Food was very good. Definitely worth a visit.

Overall our experience was good. We were definitely forgotten about once we were sat down and had to flag someone down to order. Others were being attended to who had arrived while we were still waiting. The atmosphere was good, the food was good. Overall a good evening.

Very friendly staff and they acknowledged the deal with the Trinity theatre tickets. Good portions and quickly served especially as it was Valentines Day.

Food was really good and didn’t have to wait long for it to arrive. There was a nice ambiance. The service although efficient, none of the staff were particularly friendly or welcoming.

We usually go to Cote but decided to have a change especially as it was special ‘ burger/drink ‘ night. An excellent decision ! We were made very welcome by Dennis and had a really nice meal in pleasant surroundings. Will be going again.

Disappointed to be greeted with a very bossy woman who said we could only have the table for 80 minutes then move to the bar. This was adjusted slightly when we were given a different table but not a good start to our special evening. We have been here before and it has been fantastic and friendly sadly not thr same this time .
