Lovely atmosphere, excellent varied menu. Staff are friendly and attentive. Food is very good, but takes a while to arrive, so allow time - this isn't a criticism, I assume it's freshly cooked. Overall, a great experience.

we were shown to our booked table , our friends were already at the table and we were asked about drinks, then if we wanted to order . reception service and quality of food very good , the only slight down was , with pie of the day, the vegetables were 2 springs of broccoli and a spoon of mash ...id of liked a bit more veg

We liked the vibe, quite expensive. Roast beef, my meat wasn’t particularly good, and way too much gravy. The veg was non existent, I sent it back because it was cold. The rest of our party was happy with their food. My daughter’s pork was amazing! Our waitress was nice but I wouldn’t say we were well looked after by the other staff.

Popped in for lunch with my wife. We went for the roast, she had chicken i went for beef. It arrived after awhile, good presentation, flavour good portions and the Yorkshire pudding was massive. Service was very good, team were friendly and approachable. One the owners even took the time to chat.

Nice environment, super and attentive staff, Fillet steak was crucified. Small portions for the cost of the meal. Wine per glass extortionate at £11.50 per medium glass. Don’t think we would return as there are other restaurants around with better cost/ food.

What a gorgeous restaurant! We needed a refuge from the rain and some good food between wedding events locally and this really was the best choice. Beautifully designed, chilled atmosphere with such a friendly welcome! We enjoyed a super meal (the chicken satay was a real highlight!), some good wine, and were never rushed. Thank you so much for letting us enjoy the afternoon and overstaying our table!

Great atmosphere, good food, great staff but the stairs down to the loos were slippery as was the floor going into the ladies & the main door to the loos was propped open by large bleach & cleaning products reducing privacy. Considering how beautiful the main restaurant is maybe time for some TLC for the loos!

Excellent bar and restaurant, brilliant informed efficient and friendly service and both the owners made an effort to chat despite being very busy. Lively place but live music was not overpowering and noise levels fine. Food was very good. Definitely worth a visit.

Overall our experience was good. We were definitely forgotten about once we were sat down and had to flag someone down to order. Others were being attended to who had arrived while we were still waiting. The atmosphere was good, the food was good. Overall a good evening.
