A lovely restaurant with great food. We were very happy with everything.

It was the first visit for my friends and they loved it from the moment they walked in. Service is always excellent and the choice and quality of food was wonderful.

Delicious food, as usual, friendly and welcoming staff, and an inviting atmosphere whilst dining.

VERY DISAPPOINTED! I ordered a sirloin steak, but about a quarter of it was so fatty it was inedible. Staff were friendly and helpful, service was OK. Very noisy

The place was very busy when we arrived we received a warm welcome from the owners. The food order arrived fairly quickly considering how busy they were. The seafood linguine was very good, lots of flavour and seafood. The service throughout the meal was very good. Staff helpful and friendly.

We booked but probably didn’t need to, but we were greeted by a very friendly member of staff who saw us to our table. The team were very friendly and very pleasant when engaged in conversation. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was very good.

We’ve been wanting to visit TN1 Bar and Kitchen for sometime, largely because of the positive reviews we’ve read, especially about Sunday lunch. Overall we rated it as ok, not bad but not outstanding in any way. It’s a comprehensive menu and staff were friendly enough. One of our party was a gluten free diner and asked our server to advise on dishes. It would have been a whole lot easier and a whole lot more disruptive to provide a marked up menu. Quite why restaurants think diners can remember everything that’s said when going through this torturous and unnecessary proceas is beyond me. We were told that more or less most things on the menu would be ok. However what this translates to is items being excluded e.g. no stuffing or yorkshires with the roast etc. I’ve never fathomed why restaurants do that - they don’t offer a discount on the meal but seem to think it’s ok to offer a third (or more) less items on the plate. Food was ok, nothing special and we left feeling we’d had an average experience. L

Food fresh and tasty, the Thai mussels were particularly excellent. Some of the fish options were unavailable, which was a shame, and the dessert menu isn’t as inventive as the savoury dishes. Blood Orange Cosmopolitan was lovely and the Sancerre very good. Staff, as always, were delightful but rushed off their feet so there were some comedy moments whilst we tried to complete our order as the server rushed off… weirdly, they didn’t seem to want to sell us any wine ??! But we persevered and it was well worth it.

The food was delicious & the staff very friendly. However, the general atmosphere was very noisy with loud music. Not ideal for catching up with friends!

Helpful and friendly staff. An attractive and convenient setting. Tasty dishes especially the fish and chips and monkfish.
