Tomahawk Steakhouse - Yarm

Even though the restaurant was very quiet during our visit, service was extremely slow. We were waiting close to an hour for our food to arrive and no apology from staff for the delay. It then seemed quiet insulting to whack a tip on the end of our bill after very average service.

Service was really poor. Food wasn’t very good both mains, sides and desserts

Brilliant, simple brilliant. Food was cooked to perfection. Highly recommended

Food was great, the waiting times for food and drinks were very very poor.

Disappointed that we were too late for Sunday lunch at 2.30 pm but couldn’t fault the food we had instead - steaks were perfect

Always spot on which is why we visit a few times a month 😏

Waitress was fantastic. Meal was beautiful however for that price would have expected a little more 'fine dining' proper steak knives as an example

First time dining here won’t be the last. Lovely atmosphere, attentive service, great food. 5 of us dined and had Rib eye, wagyu burger, Korean chicken and chicken schwarma all enjoyed and would recommend.

Totally disappointed when arrived to be put in the cocktail bar downstairs this needs to be clearly stated that when booking a table and if busy you WILL be put downstairs in a noisy cocktail bar not in the restaurant

The food was lovely but we were placed in hide bar which was not where we booked, we booked the tomahawk steak house and that’s where we would of liked to have been sat as we were out for our wedding anniversary

The food was amazing, however it wasn’t that busy when we arrived we were offered some water to drink as we were seated and no one else came over so after 20 minutes I went to the bar to order some drinks and ask if we could order our food. The waiting staff need to be more attentive to the customer as we weren’t the only table to go to the bar to order drinks ect. Even though the was was fantastic the service also adds a lot to the experience

Visited last Sunday for the 1st time it was amazing so off we go again this Sunday just hoping they have Sunday lunch this week as they had none left last week 😞

First time I have been in the Yarm version of tomahawks and without a doubt it doesn’t come close to the potto steakhouse; with the class, the service and the quality of food. Which the potto restuarant gives.

The steak was really good but the sides were a little too greasy for my taste.

Had the Early Bird Menu wanted to give it a try. Im fussy so not enough choice but loved what I had, and the place so will go for the Main menu next time. Service was excellent.

Had the sharing platter. All four steaks were chewy, house wine not good. Service very good but beware the automatic 15% service charge that is put on the bill

Good steakhouse and very nice cocktails, stay away from the spicy sauce if you don’t have a defibrillator with you😜
