Tomahawk Steakhouse - Yarm

Came tonight for my dads birthday, they were sold out of 12oz fillet so had 10oz but was still just out of this world! I’m sure I’ll be back again soon :-)

A couple of employees at our place of work are leaving so we arranged to go to Tomahawk to say farewell. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food and had a great time. The air con was a little too cool and there were a couple of small mistakes with orders but nothing detrimental to the evening. Overall we had a great experience and thoroughly enjoyed the food! Thanks, Tomahawk!

Steak was good, only a little gristle. Two menu choices were off so I didn’t get the chateaubriand I’d planned for. Overall a nice but slightly pricey meal.

Food lovely & very tasty - just wasn't hot enough as I like piping hot food. Would go again but send food back to be heated up, if it wasn't hot enough.

Great night ... food was great, service excellent and clean restaurant and facilities ... could have more signage to direct to front door... as first time visitors it was difficult to find.

A long wait for service. waiter spilled my drink and left wet floor and table . No drinks mat either. Ages to order although food came quickly. Restaurant not full but noisy music spoiled visit. Overall disappointed as not cheap but felt like a cheap venue!

Brilliant as usual! This time had 12oz Fillet which was just unreal!

Was given a nice table.Food and service really good. had an enjoyable visit and planning on going again.

On arrival the " meet and greet" guy had his back to is and did not meet or greet us as he was looking at his screen.. we stood for a while then went to the bar and stood for a while asked for drinks but didn't get any.. then we were shown our table... after that the waitress with red hair was red hair made us welcome and all was ok after that.. lovely food would recommend it... drinks service was slow though

Tried out the Sunday lunch for the first time and will definitely be back as it was second to none. Every element was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The service was impeccable, the staff friendly and helpful.

Visited 11/95/19. Ordered the fillet steak and it was cooked perfectly. Sides were beautiful and service fantastic. My fave place and will 100% be returning.

Soooo noisey ! Could hardly here ourselves on our own table. Perhaps more noise softening dividers ( especially end tables Near kitchen. ) Rest was Too hot. Asked but Informed us aircon was on but still too warm. Meal superb. Drink service a little slow but still ok. Despite this - we want to come back 😄

Food was lovely as always but waited a while to order.

Nice staff however 3 Steak’s ordered to be cooked Medium- one came well done -one rare -one ok but all not very hot. The sides were poor and only slightly warm. Ordered a wagyu burger that was solid to tough to eat. Very disappointed won’t return. Also a 10% service charge was added with our asking.

Been here twice in 1 week , absolutley beautiful food , never had a better steak or Sunday lunch anywhere else !! Will definitley be returning more often

Gorgeous as always. Popcorn prawns then beef for me. Belly pork then steak for hubby. Yum yum

Fabulous food, lovely wine, great service and superb atmosphere! Would recommend.

Another great visit to Tomahawk. Food was excellent and the wine was really nice. We waited a little longer than normal as there were a couple of big tables that arrived after us and were served before us but that must have been because they pre-ordered. Still a very enjoyable meal.

Brilliant Sunday lunch sharing board will be back soon .

The food was lovely, very expensive. Wine by the glass was very expensive and like vinegar some nice wines by the glass would be lovely. Let the experience down if you just want a glass.

We had the tomahawk steak done rare and it was cooked to perfection and the sides and wine were both amazing!

Great foosd, friendly staff. Service for drinks after our meal were a bit slow.

First time to The Yarm Tomahawk... very different to Potto... food excellent but not very accommodating for our vegetarian guest ... quite loud and not easy to hear yourselves when chatting
