With classic furnishings and a refined atmosphere, TOR Thai Bistro boasts one of Chiswick’s finest locations in which to eat exquisite Thai cuisine. Situated on Chiswick High Road, this Thai restaurant is found just moments from Turnham Green and Stamford Brook tube stations and only a hop, skip and a jump from the Thames. Popular with local gourmands, the food on offer at London’s TOR is as stunning as the restaurant’s classy environment.
Light and airy, the inside of London’s TOR Thai Bistro is unlike most Thai restaurants in the Chiswick area. With beautiful moulding on the restaurants white walls, a lightly coloured hardwood floor and classic chandeliers, the atmosphere at TOR is both elegant and sophisticated. Featuring an expertly curated selection of fine wines to boot, this Thai restaurant on Chiswick High Road is ideal for a romantic evening, a celebratory dinner or an unforgettable meal with loved ones.
TOR’s beauty isn’t its only selling point. This London restaurant’s menu impresses food critics and newbies to the cuisine alike, all the while providing their high-end dishes at reasonable prices. Seafood lovers rave about the pla lui suan, a crispy fried seabass fillet topped with mixed vegetables and Thai-style dressing, and the squid phad preaw whan, deep-fried squid in sweet and sour sauce. Like it spicy? Try the Weeping Tiger, a hot dish consisting of char-grilled and marinated sirloin beef served with a tasty Thai chilli sauce. TOR Thai Bistro also features several vegetarian items, lamb dishes, and numerous curries, as well as noodles and fried rice. An advance reservation is a good idea for this Chiswick hotspot, so book early.
Enjoyed coming to our local Thai restaurant with great food and amazing service as per usual. We look forward to coming back again soon. Thank you.
This is the best Thai restaurant in London. Food is always amazing, great service and lovely atmosphere. It is the place to come back to!
The restaurant is small but the service more than makes up for it. The food was amazing, we had vegetable gyoza, prawn pad thai, chicken massamam curry and egg fried rice - perfect for 2. All came to a reasonable £30 with a drink each. There is a lunch and early evening menu - which ends at 7:30. A main and side for under £11, or a main and 2 sides for under £12.
