Visited here for Sunday lunch which was all very nice, the only downside was they had no real ale on due to some issue or other.
Roast beef dinner was lush And a great cheese board 👍😊
good food, nice ambiance. Didn't realise many of the beers were out of stock as the international festival goers had virtually drunk the place dry. Will visit again.
This is a simple pub with very good food, all the T Taylor beers, delightful staff and a good cross section of customers. What not to like?
we had a fantastic meal. The food was great quality and the staff were very attentive, polite and efficient. Overall, one of the best hearty meals in town.
The food was lovely the service was very sad the waitress tried her best but obviously didn’t know anything about wine and was not very professional aboutth sittings xxx
Great food at the Town Hall Tavern, nice atmosphere. Would recommend.
Excellent food and service in a traditional pub environment. Well presented and very tasty at excellent prices. Will defiantly return to sample the rest of the varied menu.
What a gem. Nice small pub with very nice landlord and landlady. The staff behind the bar were very friendly. I received a table and asked if we could be sat in a corner as it was a small birthday meal. When we arrived I got exactly what I asked for. The food was excellent we all ordered different dishes. And if I had to choose I could not each dish well presented and the flavours of each dish were outstanding. I would definitely recommend this pub
Great service. Good beer and excellent food and value for money. Give it a try you will not be disappointed. Thank you. We will be back
Delicious homemade dishes, much better than your average pub fare. Would recommend the pig cheek and quail egg scotch egg, savoury beetroot and cheesecake, and garlic mushrooms. Nice to find a more traditional pub i.e. without all the TVs and slot machines. Friendly staff.
The food was absolutely delicious. This was our second visit and we will certainly return soon. The staff were friendly and helpful and the serving of food was very quick. Thankyou.
Really fantastic place to eat. Everything homemade including ice-cream and unusual flavours and dishes aplenty. This is a pub serving high end fine-dining style food at great prices and not to be missed if in Leeds. Friendly atmosphere with attentive owner and staff too.
All dishes were very good and service excellent. An enjoyable evening in a nice atmosphere accompanied by Timothy Taylor's excellent beers. Value for a city centre establishment.
Excellent food, nice environment, friendly staff. Approx £30 per head with bottle of wine. Slightly strange location as Ive lived in Leeds for 30 years & I didn't know it was there.
