Five tempura prawns, mainly all batter and served with chutney WHOLE goats cheese? about 8mm thick! Ham and eggs. Fried eggs were over cooked and no whole grain mustard (ran out 2 days ago) All the above served with rosemary chips which were very dry and no flavour of rosemary. Pomegranate and elderflower presse; at £3.50 expected a bottle of premium brand but came in a hi-ball glass, half full plus ice Expensive for the quality of food. They are pretending to be better than they are both on quality and value Service was o.k. and they did acknowledge my friends’ complaint

We have been going to WW many years and have always loved it. This last 2 years the increase in prices has unfortunately restricted our visits. We have also found that service can be very slow but it has increased it’s seating and not increased its kitchen size l believe so l guess that’s why. Today we visited for my husbands birthday , food was very nice and we ordered a sweet. We waited at least 15 minutes only to be told it was no longer available, reordered different sweets and then one arrived with custard and not icecream. We had to wait ages for the missing icecream which when finally arrived had obviously been sitting around waiting for someone to deliver as it was part melted and we had to ask the girl doing the drinks for spoons as we didn’t have any with the sweets. Slightly disappointing visit, hope for a better next time!

Hi, Ever so pretty, staff really nice, food lovely. Would love to go again. Only comments are , - just as happened to a friend -we booked verbally for outside but we given inside. And not all of the salad ingredients described were included in the dish selected. Food was delicious though and oh so pretty there. Very busy, so hard to moan when the staff were working so hard but it was such a lovely day to be stuck inside.

First time visit, my husband & I were on holiday. Before we came to Weymouth, we had followed you on Facebook, so decided to seek you out. We were not disappointed, everything was perfect. We were made most welcome. The food was outstanding, service was perfect & the garden was out of this world. This tearoom/garden is a hidden gem. Well worth a visit.

We were sat at an outside table in the beautiful garden which was lovely. Our table was in a little section on its own so felt really private. Ordering food (which was lovely by the way) was easy and didn't take long despite it being busy. Seemed to be a very popular place to eat, which in its self is a really good sign of the great service, lovely atmosphere and lovely food on offer.

Our food was very good. We had the chicken schnitzel, pulled pork burger, gren warrior burger and the wishing well ploughmans. All very well cooked and service was excellent. Very cheerful staff and helpful. Only downside was the portion size of the ploughman's lunch. Very sparse. For the cost, pretty disappointing.

Lovely place to visit, beautiful place, very peaceful, we had lunch and the food was delicious and the portions were good. My 8yr old granddaughter was absolutely certain fairies lived there! She loved wandering around the little paths and looking in all the hidden areas.

Usually fabulous at this little place but today it wasn’t… had chicken Caesar salad (gf) but no gf croutons (only told this on it being served) - they normally do little pieces of fried potato instead of bread so was anticipating that in this occasion. Bacon on the top was barely cooked. The rest was just warm salad leaves, warm cucumber and a bit of chicken.. not the best value for £14.95. Hope they get back to their normal standard soon.

We love the Upwey Wishing Well, the team are always friendly and welcoming, the food is delicious and always presented beautifully. As for the setting, it’s a place where you can feel relaxed, either indoors (I love the decor) or outdoors, in the surroundings of the incredible garden, it’s like a paradise tucked away in Upwey. Couldn’t recommend a visit enough, the garden is a great sight for all ages with ever changing blooms through the seasons and the real wishing well is magical!
