The venue and atmosphere are lovely. It was great walking around the garden along side the crystal clear water. The warm GF apple cake with clotted cream for me and the cheese scone for my wife was excellent. We decided to return later in the afternoon for something savoury, all of which were wonderful. Thank you! We Will come again and bring friends 😊👌 Phil Wadham

All round fantastic lunchtime well-spent. We were picking up a print from the wonderful Art2Card gallery next door and tied it in with a long overdue visit to Upwey Wishing Well. We were a bit early but it wasn't a problem. We decided to take a walk around the gardens of course which are so beautiful and calming with the water running through them and all of the lovely walkways. Lunch was outstanding and great value; really first class. We took some of their amazing Dorset Apple Cake and Dorset Honey away too! A completely wonderful experience, including the service...from beginning to end! - We'll be back with friends and family soon!

The venue is gorgeous. The food stylish and value for money. The cakes are AMAZING and the wishing well water garden is charming. Moreover, the staff were attentive, funny and friendly. Really suitable selection for children too. Would advise booking.

Lovely setting, friendly service, eggs Benedict very tasty if slightly pricey and needing a 2nd slice of toast. Coffee not the best tasting but ok for thirsty walkers

What a beautiful place! We came on a wet Aprils day but that didn’t spoil the beautiful stroll around the gardens. The afternoon tea was delicious and the service was wonderful. Made for a very happy birthday

Only down side was people kept leaving the door open causing a draft which was somewhat annnoying. The grounds beautiful but wet in areas. The staff, food and drinks were lovely. Worth a visit any time.

There was a techical problem with loading our order but we were unaware of it until we asked again for our drinks. At that point, our order was re-submitted which caused a further delay. One main meal was Chicken Schnitzel and, we felt, value for money. A Buddha Bowl was the other main course and it was disappointingly small, and not good value. The Hot X Bun bread and butter pudding was also small for the price; on the other hand, the Lemon Pavlova was both generous and delicious. The restaurant was busy, both inside and out, and the staff worked hard. However, we have had better experiences at this restaurant / tearooms.
