Pleasant ambiance, food good if not exceptional and excellent friendly attentive service. There were five of us seated at a round table for a family reunion and we enjoyed ourselves. Altogether an experience we'd repeat.

Always great food at this lovely Italian restaurant. We had the 3 course Sunday lunch which is good value for money. Will be back soon!

Food was excellent so was the service. Couldn't fault it. Pleasant surroundings. They didn't rush you and nothing was too much trouble. Would thoroughly recommend going there.

Not as good as it use to be. Very few diners in. Lacks atmosphere. A shame really...as some dishes very pleasant. Cote and Ivy in Clifton.....not dissimilar prices but much better experience.

Friendly and attentive staff. My venison melted in my mouth, and my son's Pork Milanese was nicely cooked and flavoursome. Excellent food, wine list and service. What more could you want?

Really nice environment. Great food, very friendly people and a really nice place to have a meal with the family. Great stuff. Highly recommended and they are able to provide gluten free pasta if required. Also very obliging with other food allergies. My grandmother for example can't have cheese, cream or any other dairy. They made her a separate soup as a starter with no milk or cream. Very kind and nothing seemed touch trouble for them.

Great food, friendly staff, I would highly recommend a visit especially on a lunch time, I use this venue as a great place to entertain clients and friends, nothing is ever too much trouble.

Brilliant service, amazing food, lovely restaurant with staff who are very knowledgable about the food and wine. Would highly recommend a visit. Worth going for the early bird menu as they will accommodate from main and specials menu.

Very friendly attentive service. Made to feel very welcome. Nice to have chef come out and discuss the menu on the specials board. The only issue we had was we were unaware that they added a 20% service on the bill as we were 6 people in the party.

Excellent Puglian cuisine, with excellent service by an Italian waitress. Good ambience in the restaurant, with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Dishes on the daily "specials" board were very good. Good value for money.

How great it is to visit an Italian resturant that is what is says it is. Very well cooked food and a delight to be there with wonderful service. Recommend it. Just wish I live nearby. We visited before going to a concert in Bristol one evening. Just wish we had longer and lived closer.

Service was slow Took ages to ask what we wanted to drink No cocktails as Barman didn't turn up No atmosphere We thought it was quite expensive for the food we had in comparison to other Italian restaurants We wouldn't rush to return

Very friendly. Food lovely. Had to remind waiting staff a few times about a couple of things though. Very loud and struggled to hear conversation with my partner a few times, but the place definitely had atmosphere.

A lovely friendly neighbourhood restaurant. The food was excellent and my wife and I both enjoyed our classic Italian dishes, the sea bass was delightful and the pork was delicious. I would happily recommend.

Another lovely evening at Valentino. Recommended to have Sirloin and none of us were disappointed. Always a nice atmosphere even though it was reasonably quiet. Also able to take our time and ordered each course individually so we were in control of when our food came out. Thanks Valentino. See you again next time. Highly recommended.

From start to finish everything was wonderful. Great place with lovely staff, who selected a great wine when our first choice was sold out. Look forward to returning.

Excellent. Not overly busy but good atmosphere, Attentive service. Food excellent. Sat in bar area and had a drink and placed our order then food was ready moved to restaurant area.

The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming; the food was excellent,and to have a jug of fresh water placed on the table before we had ordered was a very nice touch that was much appreciated. The special Sunday Lunch menu was just right for our needs. Our grandchildren (ages 7 and 9) were made welcome and the requirement to cater for "dairy free" for one of them was made easy by the choices available on the menu. A great experience that will definitely be repeated.

Generally good. There was a large party in, and that seemed to slow the service down a little, but the food was very tasty and well presented.

Great food, nice atmosphere. We had a lovely romantic meal. Would have been 6 but they were understaffed at the time and the menus were very old and needed replacing.
