I have to say this place was better than I expected. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. I think even if you aren't vegetarian or vegan which I am not you will enjoy the food. The felafel starter was very tasty and the coconut curry main was delicious. The Blue Nachos could be a meal in itself for a smaller appetite. I would definitely go back if i am in the area. They also have a pool table and an event room downstairs. Will be checking that out at some point.

Very friendly staff, quick service and great food! Definitely one of the best pure vegan restaurants in London, so if you're around Brixton give them a visit.

Nice restaurant in Brixton, lovely staff and cheap food! The coconut curry was amazing and portion sizes are huge! Definitely recommend coming here for a vegan friendly meal 😊

The food was great and we also stayed for the live bands. It was a great evening and I would definitely recommend the Veg Bar.

Great food, especially the tofish and chips! Didn't realise there were puddings until after our dinner, they were equally amazing! And I'm not vegan, not even vegetarian fully. But still loved it!

The food was okay... really nice fries(can fries be done badly?!) but my sister and I both suffered from mild food poisoning the next day and we both ate The Godfather burger(coleslaw?? Salad???) and nothing else..

Vegbar is a very relaxed, friendly neighbourhood restaurant. The food is fast-food vegan and much it tastes store-bought. Our family of four had the soya burger, the tofu burger, tofu fish and chips and a burrito. The burgers were served on cheap, white hamburger buns and came with an overabundance of fries and a few onion rings. They burgers were both okay, not great they tasted as if they had been frozen. The burrito was okay but not very spicy. The tofu-fish and chips was probably the best tasting out of what we ordered. The price they charge for fast-food vegan isn't really worth it. Having said that the place was packed, cheerful and everyone seemed to be enjoying their food. Our waitress was lovely and very professional. If you are a vegan I'm not sure why you would want to eat fast, processed food but if you miss McDonalds this might be the place for you. I'm giving it a 5 because of the friendly vibe, not the food.

Really nice people, food was mainly just deep fried, was okay but overpriced, you should be into chips. Go for the jack fruit wrap with it!

Travelled 270 miles to visit this Vegi heaven will definitely go back. Staff were super cool and friendly. Food was to die for, how do they do it? By far the best vegi food in my 27 years without meat. Try the vegfather !
