Whilst the food was delicious as always the service was very slow, plates weren’t given for popadoms however the member of staff took 10% off the bill as a form of compensation. We definitely visit again.

Food was good, service very good but it was a little bit too chilly in the restaurant for comfort as the evening wore on. We probably should have told the staff at the time as they were all excellent and very attentive so apologies to the Vermilion for that! Bottom line - would we go back? Yes we would and we would recommend it to others

The food was good,nothing outstanding. The waiters kept asking if the food was ok, a lot, I'd rather be left alone to eat it tbh

Warm welcome. Menu very small printing and difficult to read when seated in a dimly lit area. Food service quick and friendly and delicious. Drinks service quite slow and had to remind staff of our order, though we weren't in a hurry. We will be going back.

Our table was ready and waiting for us on our arrival. Excellent food from a great menu choice. The service was first class as always. We shall definitely be returning in the very near future.

Great food and service from friendly staff. Choice on the menu is very good, a little different from the "run of the mill" restaurants. Beer and wine was good too.

Staff very pleasant and food was perfect. As I'm not a big fan of really spicy food my waiter listened and made sure my food was made to accommodate me. This meant I really enjoyed my meal and I would definitely go back again.

Went for special menu on Thursday, really fantastic food, lovely white linen table cloths and linen napkins makes a change from paper napkins. A real find for quality and price

My wife and I really enjoyed our visit here. The starters were excellent, very tasy. The service was great and the drinks good. Our main courses were top notch, and all in all we had a great meal. We shall return.

Food was very mediocre. Vegetarian dishes bland lamb tough. Service hit and miss. \ok for a quick cheap curry but much better restaurants in Durham

The food was lovely and the waiter that served us was very polite unfortunately the speed at which food came out was very slow - I think we waited around 40 minutes for our starters.

Very quick service and the food was really nice! The restaurant is really good value for money. The food never lets you down. Would recommend.
