Good food and service, first tme back here in a while things have defiantly improved. Will probably use again for takeaways. The Viceroy is back.

easy to book, great food (a little pricey maybe?) and attentive staff. Would visit again. Parking not great but use the cinema car park (2 min walk)

Top quality. Worth the extra spent there. Melt in you mouth lamb really did feel like that. Local people recommended this restaurant to myself and wife.

Staff are very attentive and friendly,they made our valentines night very memorable.Food is excellent,couldn’t eat it all,the restaurant is very clean and comfortable and just a nice play to enjoy a meal

Wonderful meal, We had the wednesday special menu, good selection to choose from and all arrived in good time. Attentive waiters (without being intrusive). Will definately be going again.

A great restaurant. The food was excellent with great service. A modern feel to decor which all made for a great experience highly recommended if you are in the area an want a good quality Indian.

VG set menu. Had anticipated from website menu a wider range than just ice cream for pud. That said, the starter and mains were excellent. Nicely cooked and beautifully served by attentive and friendly staff.

Starters were very well presented and well seasoned. Mains were rather tasty and the king prawns in the ‘Tiger on the River’ dish were huge! Only slight let downs were the underseasoned sag paneer and brinjal bhaji; otherwise a tasty meal and good service

Our bill was incorrect at the end but was given a voucher and felt the feeling d coming out was rushed a little with no gap in between . Food was good excellent though.

The food was wonderful and the staff were polite friendly and helpful, When it came to menu choices and the member of our team who is on a strict gluten free diet, there was extra attention paid to ensure she was catered for. This took away the worry of eating for her and she was able to enjoy her meal. We were quite a large group and paying separately for the meals went o.k., but the drinks and nibbles came on one bill and this caused confusion among our ranks. Lovely tho and I will return for more mango curry - superb Thankyou.

A birthday treat night out for my girlfriend. Excellent table service and food, nice contemporary style surroundings, which was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our romantic evening dining out here very much and will definitely return. There are a lot of Viceroy special dishes to choose from plus all the usual favourites. The only minor negative comment would be that there was a problem with the admin licensing to sell alcohol because of an oversight with a name change at companies house. To be fair the staff had it covered & went out to a local off licence for us to collect whatever drinks we wanted. The drinks cost charged was very reasonable too for the minor inconvenance. Overal i would rate this restaurant as excellent.

The staff are very friendly and efficient, the restaurant is smart and clean, but the stand-out thing for us is the quality of the food, particularly the meat, and the portion size (generous).

Went for our daughters 18th and werent disappointed. The food was superb very attentive efficent staff and extremely good value for money... great cocktails!!! Would definately recommend

Beautiful food and the staff are very attentive to our needs. It was busy when we went and we were seated upstairs where it was quiet.

Lovely food but not the best table at the back of the restaurant. Service started well but tapered off to almost non existent. Wanted a coffee but went off the idea due to the wait.

I was really looking forward to going but left feeling a little deflated and dazzled by the lights! Although the food was okay, we were blinded by the bright LED lights!! There were on full beam, not a dimmed light to be seen. Just no ambience in there, if they could dim the lights and put some candles on the table, then I think I would've enjoyed my meal more. It was like eating a meal in a supermarket, no romance what so ever!

Food very good but would have preferred it being served on heated trays, staff very smart and helpful, restaurant was clean with a good ambience.

The food is always delicious, much tastier than many other Indian restaurants and portion sizes for the meat dishes are large. Very friendly service. We would highly recommend the Viceroy.

Have been to this restaurant many times over the years and the standard of food is always excellent. I have noticed that the sizes of the dishes have increased from when we first visited many years ago. The level of service is good, staff are polite and efficient and I would highly recommend the Viceroy to anyone who likes good food.

It was a Quick and pleasent service and the food was delicious. Everything we had was fresh and hot and we were never kept waiting.

After arriving at the Viceroy we all received a great welcome. We had time to look at the menu before making our choices. The food came promptly and we all agreed it was excellent - nice flavours and tasted good. A great night was had by us all.

Our group of four were all very impressed with the quality of food and the standard of service during our visit on Saturday night. We will be visiting again soon I hope.

Superb food, absolutely delicious and the service was very good. Fair prices and the food was obviously cooked fresh. Will be going back very soon.

We took advice from the waiter as to which vegetarian dishes to order. His choice was very good. We visit Yeovil on a regular basis and will always go to the Viceroy as other Indian restaurants just don't cut it. Fantastic food and run by a really nice bunch of people.

The food was lovely, and the staff friendly - we would definitely recommend the Viceroy restaurant, we have used it a lot for takeaway meals in the past, and have always found the food to be excellent.

This was my wife's birthday and we couldn't have chosen a better place to celebrate. The staff treated us like royalty, nothing was too much trouble and the food was excellent, we ended up haveing a complimentary drink to round off a very enjoyable evening. Will definitely return and would recommend this venue to all our friends. Keep up the good work all at Viceroy Yeovil
