Great food and service thanks - we will be back

Food excellent as ever. Although our service was very good other diners were experiencing delays. This was due to a large number of diners arriving at the same time, but also it appeared that many of the waiters were inexperienced.

Nice & relaxed atmosphere. Flavoursome dishes & nice to receive complementary liqueurs to finish😀

Excellent menu choice, friendly staff and a vibrant atmosphere. The food was excellent and well presented.

The food is beautiful and the range is fantastic! The place is clean, well decorated and has a lovely vibe. It is a relaxing atmosphere to eat in too.

Previously we have had an excellent experience but on this occasion it was poor we waited 45 - 60 for our main course to arrive after our starter. Most disappointed

Excellent food, highly recomend the Gourmet Banquet, great selection of dishes and very good portions. We were a table of six and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food, atmoshere and the high quality service, the only complaint i heard was that people had eaten too much!!!

Love this restaurant. It's always a firm favourite for a family meal out. The food is always exceptional and the staff always friendly and helpful. The takeaways are always to the same standards. Would highly recommend

Very lovely food. Had the butter chicken makhani, was to die for. Staff also lovely. Bit on the pricey side but you do get what you pay for as it’s quality food and a lovely venue.

Overall a very pleasant experience. A warm welcome, nice surroundings, excellent food and extremely attentive staff made it a very enjoyable evening. We will certainly go back again

Always use this Indian restaurant when visiting Derby. The food and drink menus are comprehensive and the decor and layout of the restaurant comforting. The food and service are first class and would unreservedly recommend.

Myself and my family all had an excellent meal, if eating Indian food in Derby it's the only place for us, the food is top notch the service is very good, the overall experience is 5*****

Great neal. It is fine dining so you pay a little premium but this is around £6 extra per person which is totally worth it because the food is brilliant.

Food and service awesome as always. Staff very attentative. Even though (due to ill health a year ago) we haven’t been for quite some time. Some staff members remembered us. It was very nice to be greeted with “Hi. A long time since we’ve seen you, hope you’re alright”. Love the place and the people 😊😊

Great curry and good service. Great variety of dishes, normal selection and then a number of chefs specials. An enjoyable meal out good for groups and couples

Great food in comfortable surroundings. The staff are very organised,attentive and ready to provide advice on the dishes. The menu is extensive and i would recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

Service was great, food was fantastic and atmosphere was brilliant. I can't praise it enough. The best restaurant in Derby for Asian cuisine. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anybody.

The waiter who served us on a start was totally out of order was pushing us to order fast will not advice when asked what is the best and he just said look in the menu!!! Diabolical answer. After complaining the second waiter was great and he knew what customer service should be like. Kindest Regards

if you like your Indian food well flavoured and with plenty of nice spices to tickle ya tongue then viceroy is a perfect place to dine, staff is very welcoming also see ya again soon.

The food was lovely , it was spoilt by the staff rushing round the whole time we were eating . Even knocking into one of our chairs several times with no apologies, it made us feel like we needed to hurry our food and get out .

good food. free parking. service great. Shame we sat next to a table that was very loud. Apart from that, all good. no complaint here.

This is not your everyday curry house. Fantastic food with a large choice on the menu, with some very different options. Great service from staff dressed in beautiful outfits and a buzzy but not overly loud atmosphere. Not cheap but worth every penny.

Always good service and excellent food ,with a good choice. They are happy to accommodate your requirements and go that extra mile . Well worth a visit
