Everything was great. Service and food was excellent. Enjoyed the evening.

Visit was OK - food fairly pricey, soggy chips, deconstructed tartar sauce not at all deconstructed..... simply whacked on a plate from a jar!! Had the same meal on a Wednesday night and it was superb - beware the chef!

I phoned the restaurant and left a message that I would be with twin one year olds when I booked and needed space for a twin buggy as well as 2 highchairs and also spoke to staff the day before stating the above and yet our table was booked upstairs which would have been impossible for us. After a lot of fuss we were put in small corner where there was no room to move on the ground floor. There was no apology from the Greeting staff and we were made to feel awkward for mentioning the mistake. The waiting staff were excellent but I feel that we were treated like an inconvenience by the Manager and Front of House staff.

Overall good but we felt that the roast beef was not good value for money especially as it attracted a £1 surcharge. Whilst cooked to order, only 2 small thin slices were served. And the plate was smothered in gravy which should have been served on the side.

We had a lovely roast with a mix of beef and chicken roasts in our party. The service is always brilliant and catered for all ages including my 1 year old daughter. Only criticism would be that the gravy is very salty, and the potatoes could be crisper/ better overall. Otherwise we had a lovely afternoon with the family and will definitely be returning for a Sunday roast again soon.

The service wasn't very good. Þhere was one girl running around doing everything and other times they would wander up to our table with food that wasn't ours. We had to ask twice for water and the bill never came so we went up to the cash desk ourselves as we couldn't wait any longer. The fod was average. Potatoes weren't cooked and the chicken was like it was bernard matthews. Far too expensive for what you get.

The table had been booked for 2 weeks, when we arrived 3 of the dishes on the Sunday menu were out of stock. They didn't have hendricks gin, but then charged us for it, the service charge was extortionate so with minimal drinks turned out to be a very expensive non-Sunday roast. Food was good and they did put a candle on the dessert for the birthday girl but considering we were pushed into a corner table,and didn't get a roast we wanted, the least they could have done was offer it to us for free. We won't be going there again
