Authentic Italian cuisine is the order of the day at Vittorio’s, a restaurant that’s been serving the Newport community since its establishment in 1998. This family-run dining establishment offers a charming, inviting atmosphere that makes it easy to while away the hours with some fantastic food and drinks. Featuring a fully vegan menu alongside their typical Italian offerings, the restaurant is a a great choice no matter your dietary preference. If you opt for their vegan selections, we highly recommend their incredible risotto asparagi, a dairy-free, meat-free risotto with asparagus, mushrooms and sun dried tomatoes. From their traditional menu, you simply can’t go wrong with some lasagne or a pizza rustica. Found on Stow Hill in the city centre, this is one restaurant you simply have to try!
The Meal in Vittorio's was excellent, it was our first time as family and we all enjoyed there Famous Meat Balls. Lovely atmosphere and great service.
Had a great time at Vittorio, good food and good atmosphere and very reasonable prices. Great to find a family run restaurant, will definitely return.
Wonderful staff, traditional restaurant and incredible real authentic Italian food. I try something different every time I go to the restaurant and am never disappointed
Fab restaurant food amazing staff were friendly fly and welcoming would defiantly recommend, reasonably priced children's options were fab and set menu we couldn't fault even my dad who is very fussy and likes plain food they accommodated him
Vittorio's was, as always, superb. Whenever we visit Newport we look forward to going there with our friends Julie and Alan. They have been eating there for years but this visit was the first since Alan's stroke. Vittorio's could not have done more to help my friend and the food was delicious, as always. The service is excellent and the atmosphere relaxed. I highly recommend this establishment. R.P. Kenny
Overall the experience was decent spoiled by a few instances. A member of the bar staff obviously new to the role spilled a whole pint of peroni over a member of our party. The colleague then disappeared to the bar as if the instance did not occur as we were left to clean up the spillage. Additonally my main meal of meatballs was brought as a started which was then taken back but then subsequently brought back 20 minutes later. Staff tried to accommodate the one vegan request we had however it seemed to provoke some confusion as we had to wait longer for the vegan meal whilst the rest of our party were told by the waitress to carry on eating or the food would go cold leaving a single member of our party to sit and watch us eat. We did not complain last night and paid the bill, many thanks, Steve.
We have been to Vittorio's on several occasions over the years and can honestly say have never been let down. The food and service received is excellent, and will certainly continue to frequent this lovely family run restaurant.
Buono, atmosphere as always condusive to a comfortably relaxed occasion in which to savour a well prepared meal with friends.. our guests enjoyed the occasion too! The staff very freindly and eager to assist in making the evening special, with the head chef coming attending the table to take our order. A large party celebrating a special birthday added to the conviviality of the night, plenty of 'elbow' room none the less with space for pre dinner drinks should you want.
Very tasty home made Italian food! It was my son's 4th Birthday and they made such a fuss over him. We will definitely be going to Vittorio's again! Highly recommend it!
We hat a lovely time at Vittorio's last night. The food was outstanding and the restaurant has a really genuine Italian ambience to it. Can't wait to go again!
