Volare is an Italian restaurant in Sunderland’s East Boldon that fuses contemporary touches with all the very best elements of traditional Italian dining. The results are spectacular. Volare restaurant is a new kid on the block as of August, 2017, but on Station Road it’s already immensely popular in this part of South Tyneside. The menus consist of pizza, pasta and some divine main courses, and each dish is genuinely as beautiful to look at as it is to taste. The lunch and early evening menu here also offers exceptional value, meaning there’s very little not to love about Volare. We’re quite sure you’re going to feel the same so reserve a table now.
We have visited this restaurant a few time now its a fabulous place, looking forward to another visit soon, food excellent and staff so caring, food was the best, we totally recommend this place. Maggie and Veronica Harding
Beautiful food as always. The place is small but very comfortable .The staff go out of their way to help you. I have been three times in the last month xx
The restaurant was very welcoming and the staff were very friendly. The menu offered plenty of choice and the food that we had was lovely.
Food and drink were excellent and reasonably priced, with a very good house red for £12. Service was spot on. volare is quite small so i would recommend booking in advance. Will definitely be going again.
This is a small restaurant with about ten tables so is quite atmospheric and cosy. Recently opened having been redesigned and redecorated. Our table wasn’t ready for our booking time but we only had to wait a few minutes. Service was very efficient and friendly. Choice of food was good but the menu did not show any gf options. Portion sizes were sensible and the food good. House wine price reasonable and nice wine too. The only negative is that being small there are two tables on either side of kitchen entrance and two next to the door to the toilets. Would definitely go again.
Good food and reasonably priced. Courteous service, but rather chilly! The restaurant could be crowded as there were 30 covers in a smallish room. Take one table out?
