A new bar and restaurant on Glassford Street, in Glasgow’s city centre, Warehouse is a hangout for the city’s gourmets and cocktail aficionados. Already known around town for their friendly service and industrial-chic atmosphere, Warehouse is on the road to becoming one of the city’s top restaurants in just a short matter of time. Come in for the famous burgers or the draught beer variety – no matter what your reason, you’ll fall in love with Warehouse.
Good food but not a lot of choice on the dinner a la carte menu. Friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely return for lunch but maybe not dinner.
I found the starter very greasy ( sweet potato fritters). The steak was O.K. but served with frozen thin french fries. A few home made chips would have been much better.
Excellent gastro pub, was made to feel very welcome, the manager John was very helpful and accommodating, would definitely go here again, great chef and great food.
There are some locals who come to Glasgow’s Warehouse for the drinks alone. We can’t blame them – this fine establishment on Glassford Street in the city centre knows how to whip up an incredible mixed drink. There’s more than just cocktails on offer here, with numerous draught beers on tap as well as fine wines and an impressive selection of liquors. Not sure what to order? Just have your friendly bartender whip up something especially for you.
This classy and sophisticated city centre bar and restaurant has an extensive food menu as well, with the most famous item being their house burger served with delicious polenta chips. Eat like a VIP and indulge in gourmet mains like the duck breast with blueberry jus and charred gem, the chicken liver pate with beetroot ketchup, brioche toast and fennel slaw, or the roasted corn-fed chicken with confit potatoes, shallot crisps and braised leeks. For vegetarians, we recommend the roasted quinoa with butternut squash, a satisfying and nourishing dish that includes a sprinkling of goat cheese and an array of fresh vegetables. Make sure to reserve ahead – Glasgow’s Warehouse is no longer a secret.
