The new menu was ok I preferred the previous menu as it had more choice for my taste but at least the pie of the day was decent so enjoyed the dish.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch with very attentive staff. The wine could be improved as it was very poor quality (Shiraz).

Not enough staff to cope with volume of dinners. Staff run of their feet, but did best to cope in a very difficult situation

Absolutely fantastic service, daughter ordered a vegan chicken sandwich it came without the vegan Mayo but with a lemon dressing. She asked if they had vegan Mayo to be told they had ran out. Lovely young guy asked if she would like to swap it for something else as neither my daughter or himself had been informed that it was not available. She swapped it for a vegan pasta and he told us the pasta would be on the house! He really didn’t have to do that but it was appreciated. The food was amazing and clean plates where left by all. Older gentleman serving our table too was very attentive & funny to boot. Will certainly be back and recommending to others looking for a meal in Linlithgow! 💕

Fish pie was not good, the sauce had separated and there was too much mashed potato on top for my liking. The trio of puddings was delicious and my husband’s fish and chips enormous!

Service great. Food very average. Frozen fish , too much batter oven chips.

Food great but very cold in the restaurant. We love the people there and is really our local as we visit very often but is really cold 🥶 😕 Shame because you don't enjoy yout food
