Beware of too much chilli. There is such a thing. And it spoils otherwise tasty food.

The food here used to be great but this time it was cold and tasted bland.

The food was really good and even though the restaurant was busy with 3 coach loads of students the service was acceptable.

We discovered this restaurant after seeing it on TV as winner of the take away award for 2017 and decided to give it a try. It fully lived up to our expectations and more. The lady who served us was very welcoming and gladly explained the dishes we enquired about. She was very proud of their reputation and we told her that we had seen it on TV. The food was tasty and substantial portion wise. We will certainly come again.

It service was the worst I have encountered and the meal portions were small and expensive, we were a table of 6 and it was 35 minutes before we were given the menus and orders taken for drinks we left after the starters and went to another restaurant

Friendly staff, great food and the owner did us a great deal. We'll be going back again soon. There wasn't a single bad dish served.

Very good and helpful service. So many tempting dishes on the menu it is difficult to choose. Perhaps skip the starters and pick a selection from the mains.

Conveniently located in the centre of Bristol. There was lots of space and the décor was great. We had a circular table with turntable for 6. The service was friendly and attentive. We had a set menu and the food was excellent. Wong's were happy to substitute in a selection of hors d'oeuvres. We did pick a menu with a lot of chillies but overall the evening was excellent.

3 out of 4 diners were served lukewarm food for both starter and main course. Staff appeared to be inexperienced and were poorly dressed, 1 in track suit bottoms, although they were polite. The table was not cleared of dirty dishes and we were left sitting at the table with no further interest from the Manager or the staff. We had visited Wongs several months ago when we were very impressed with the variety of dishes on the menu, hence our second visit with 2 friends who were looking forward to the visit. The menu was still very varied, the food tasted fine but not warm enough. It will be some time before we venture in again which is a great shame given the experience of our first visit.

Wongs was a great experience, first time visitor, but lots of recommendations from friends . I would be happy to recommend to all just Great food and service. I'll be back

We went pre theatre and had lovely food. although not on menu (except in set meals) they did an assortment of starters for us. The service was good too.

The environment and service was exellent. Food was decent. Its not cheap, but portions were good. Overall I'd return if I visit bristol next time.

The Dodd was on time frish and very tasty The place clear the owner she is a star I would say service for a place like this needs attention it was my husband birthday I had to communicate to staff to clear the table they they brought the cake in the box !! Not in a serving plate And coffee and tea was not hot One particular staff Chinese did not speak English didn’t have a clue what he was doing set the table o had to jump and place fork on the table But the manager she was lovely lady

Quite easily the best main course I've ever had at a Chinese restaurant. Cannot recommend this place enough. The Sichuan Mala Beef and the 100 Flowers Duck were to die for.

Very friendly staff and shown to our table very quickly. Waiting staff spoke good English and were able to take our order with ease and without mistakes. Food was served promptly, was hot and delicious! Food was reasonably priced and had a good variety on the menu. Thank you Wongs for a great meal

Absolutely sensational! Service was excellent. One of the best Chinese meals I’ve ever had. Beautiful interior. Highly recommend the scallops! Cannot wait until I return.

Don't expect professional or a standard restaurants service, the staff need to be trained. However, it's an exceptional good food and cooking, big portions too. The general atmosphere makes you feel at home, the lady owner is very nice but very forgetful of we ordered during busy time so we had to chase our orders.

Very nice food at authentic Chinese restaurant. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for nice Chinese meal. Thank you for all helpful staff 🙂

One of the most fullsome and delicious restaurants in Bristol - and excellent value - we shall be returning with a large party for Chinese New Year!

It's good, actually. Although that it's run out of vegetable too fast. However, the taste of beef is ăesome. Both of boss and staff are as nice as they can be. Love it

Great food and service and authentic surroundings - can definitely recommend. We were a group of 4 so chose set menu B which was delicious but, even for us who all have very healthy appetites, we left more than we’d have wanted - VERY generous portions!
