Although the staff were lovely, they were clearly struggling to meet demand. We had to complain that we hadn’t been seen (even to order drinks) 25 minutes after arrival and another table who had arrived after us were seen first. However, the food was delicious.

Pleasantly surprised, could not fault a thing. Food was very tasty, staff great and the atmosphere, especially the background mood music was perfect. Look forward to our next visit.

As always, the food was outstanding. Busy night and the atmosphere was buzzy. Owner and other usual staff were on holiday but stand-in staff were excellent and certainly didn't let normal high standards drop. Service was relaxed but timely. Thoroughly enjoyable evening and will return soon.

Our first visit to this restaurant with 2 friends. We go out together every 6 weeks or so and are always looking for new restaurants and experiences. We arrived slightly early and table was ready for us. Lovely greeting and we ordered some drinks, I had tap water, as I was driving, which arrived in a jug, normally a jug of water arrived with ice and lemon in it, this sadly did not. We ordered two different set meals, each for two people so we could sample as much food as possible. We could not fault any of the food at all. We did not want desserts but we did order 3 coffees with Amaretto in, and a normal coffee( for the driver! ) they did take quite a while to arrive, but the wait was worth it. We then asked for the bill, but as far as I am aware it was not an itemised bill, so we could not check if it was correct. Overall a very pleasant evening and I am sure we will be back.

Food good but not as special as on previous visits.

I booked online and when we arrived, we were given a brilliant table in the window. The service was prompt and delivered with a smile. We chose a set meal for two and it was really delicious. Each dish arrived at the table hot and tasty. I chose to drink China tea and it arrived in a large pot, which refused to run out, it was jasmine scented and just what I was hoping for. All round the service, surroundings, ambience and most importantly, the food, was really excellent. Can't wait to return...

Tasty authentic Chinese food served by friendly Chinese family owners. Extensive menu to choose from - the crispy duck pancakes being our favourite. Good wine list too.

Still the best Chinese restaurant in Sussex. We travel from Brighton to eat here and it is worth the journey. The preparation of the food is an artwork in itself.

Friendly and attentive staff. Good quality food and wine. Only disappointment was the tired chairs and restricted leg room under the table. Otherwise a lovely evening.

Decent Chinese food with gluten free options. In Meads Village a 30min walk from the centre or catch the 3A bus. Service was quick. The sweet and sour chicken was good, not outstanding, and I enjoyed my veggie 5 spice Tofu, reasonable value.
