Our first visit... it was OK but didn't really hit the spot for us. 'Crispy fried chilli beef was the most flavoursome dish but was all crisp & no beef ! Lovely big restaurant & interior was the plus side for us.

Xing Fu never disappoints Offers the diner a different choice of Chinese cuisine plus the usual favourites Can get busy but definitely worth the wait Well worth a visit

I booked a table for 3 for Saturday at 7.15, we arrived on time and was lead to our table, the table we were given was just by where everyone was coming in to collect their takeaways and was extremely cold every time the door opened. I asked the waitress if she could move us to another table as it was too cold where we were and she said she will see. We sat there for ages and no one came to move us or even serve us ! We promptly left as we realised they were only dealing with the takeaway orders and it just wasn’t possible to have a good evening ! This is why I have given them the poorest rating possible, our evening was ruined. I would imagine the other room was better but as no one tried to move us, we never got to find out !

Great food, service was good and value for money was great. Puzzled why they tried to give us a table by the door in an empty section of the restaurant and only reluctantly sat us in a better area when there were only two tables occupied. Weird

Lovely food and friendly staff. Menu could be made clearer as when we asked staff about certain dishes there was some confusion.

The staff are really lovely - not keen on dumplings & I can't taste the aubergines as its drowned with spices & belly pork are too fatty, there's hardly any meat in them. The lamb shank was very nice. I would still go back and try their fish and scallops.

We missed this restaurant so much when it was closed. It was good to be back. Best ever sweet & sour chicken and it was gluten free! Everyone had a fabulous meal and we'll be back again soon.

Great food but just a shame it took so long to arrive. By the time our main course was served we had finished our bottle of wine!! Perhaps the kitchen was over laden with orders but this has happened on our previous two visits so management/owners need to make changes as unfortunately it is putting us off going back.
