Zima Russian Restaurant

An excellent start with tasty starters, vodka shots and friendly waitress. We then felt we’d been forgotten - bread wasn’t brought and a long wait between courses. We thought a large party downstairs was the cause. We eventually received the second course - tasty again although the dumplings seemed more like fish balls in pasta than dumplings. The manager was happy to remove the service charge, which had been automatically added. I would be happy to give it a second go, but service should be consistent.

Great place with nice atmosphere and really delicious food. Was not expecting much when going there this evening but oh boy it delivered! Very good!

Restaurant looks like Russian canteen, where food given in very cheap looking plate. Main dish does not look attractive and portion of main dish is too small, it will be enough for baby up to 2 years old, but not for the adult. Prices does not deserve atmosphere and food which serve at this restaurant. Long service and very unfriendly staff. I will not recommend anyone to come and visit this place,because you will be disappointed with the atmosphere and service at this restaurant.

Apparently, you can only book a table for 2 hours but no one tells you that at the time of booking. the service could really be better and more welcoming

‘Картошка‘ не была представлена в классическом виде. И поэтому дороговато. Подстаканники чудо! Но от вашего английского чая мы не спали всю ночь! Лучше бы облепиховый заказали. Сметана чудо! Горячие блюда были слегка тёплые.

Food was excellent, the service was mediocre. Before the last morsel had hit the back of my mouth, the waiter was already presenting us with the bill, and even when we indicated that we were not ready to pay yet as we required 5 minutes to converse and digest our bill, he continued to hover in the background with the card machine. In addition to which, despite us both being English, one of the waitresses asked us 'where we were from??!!' This is the second time I have been there, and the second time in which the service has been poor. On my first vist a waiter spilt a tray laden with drinks over one of my co-workers. The food is the saving grace.

Great restaurant with some very friendly staff members. Had a wonderful evening there.

Russian cousin is so much tastier, they dont have Russian blinis (crepes with meat and cheese, or cottage cheese), the waiters are real sale-people pushing for a black caviar crêpes and expensive wines. Overall, 5 out of 10

One person had gluten-free requirement, but waiters did not pay too much attention and only provided us with the list. Apart from that - excellent food and drinks!

Wonderful, loved the atmosphere with great live Russian music but not loud, fun waiters and the Salmon and beetroot was amazing, great addition to soho.

Excellent Russian food. Very good quality herring. Caviar is fair price for restaurant. Also had pelmeny and Olivier which were outstanding.

Fantastic experience! Attentive waiting staff, good location, classy interior and not too noisy like in other places I need Soho! The cuisine was great! Definitely will recommend & come there again!
