Zonzo Restaurant

Sells itself as a family friendly restaurant but doesnt have a kids menu and doesnt even offer half portions to make up for the fact. Very disappointed with that and in general the food was very overpriced.

A wonderful welcome, especially for the children. The staff were really friendly and attentive. The food was exceptional and we were particularly impressed with the breads served before the mains! Loved the tomato one! Our main meals were fresh and tasty - Italian cookery at it's best .... a lovely dining experience.

Lovely seafood pasta dish and a great atmosphere and value

Great food and polite, attentive staff. Accommodated for food intolerances and preferences with ease. The restaurant was very busy, which is a sign of how good they are. We will definitely come back

Good service and atmosphere however the food was just ok, noodles in 1 dish were very mushy and 1 dish not cooked enough! Very friendly and easy to get to from the Hilton!

Parma Pizza was great really tasty we really enjoyed it, however the pasta aglio e olio wasn’t at all what we expected it was far too spicy and pasta was quite dry. Aperol spritz also wasn’t great tasted like orange juice. Would definitely recommend the pizza and wine though

Die Reservierung hat online gut funktioniert. Das Essen war ok, mir hat es etwas an Geschmack gefehlt.

Booked a table for me , my wife and her disabled sister. We enjoyed a matinée at the theatre. Arrived at the restaurant the table was reserved for 6:30. We were slightly early. Parked the wheel chair and ordered our meal . The 2 meals came out cold. Taken back. When they arrived the vegetables were still cold? Never mind the chicken was delicious. We were then asked to move tables ?? They apologize for poor service hence we asked to remove the service charge from the bill. I don’t think I will go again. To improve , don’t cram the tables in and employ more staff to help the lovely waitress as she was the only one working the floor. Don’t accept bookings if you can’t accommodate them.

We booked and then they could not fit us in and turned us away. We were on time and waited in the queue politely. Not sure what to say really. If you cannot fit in bookings then don’t accept them in the first place. That concept is hardly difficult. From standing in the queue and chatting we were not the only ones. What a shame. Kind of ruins a nice evening out.

Me, my wife and my friend had a lovely evening and enjoyed every dish we ate.

Beautiful food with outstanding service. We booked this restaurant at very short notice on a Tuesday night at 7.30 with a booking for two adults and three children for fifteen minutes later.. We arrived on time and our fabulous waiter named Wyse had our table set and ready.. As there were five of us we did not order a starter but received a complimentary large pizza type garlic bread fresh from the oven.. We all had our main courses and our waiters attentiveness and personal touch was second to none... Again we were pleasantly surprised when Wyse gave a gift to our eight year old daughter.. It was a lovely dining experience for us all after a long day.. I could not recommend highly enough. I have never reveiwed a restaurant before but felt duty bound in this instance as the experience was outstanding . Thank you Rory Smyth

Ik had hoge verwachting door de goeie recensies en Tripadvisor “uiltje”. Het is qua prijs kwaliteitsverhouding niet in balans. £457 (4volwassenen en 1 kind menu) voor weinig en matig eten. Bolognese saus te zout, zalm te zuur(citroen). Te hebben aangegeven is er over de zalm een roomsaus overheen gegoten en zure smaak overheerst. Carpaccio was wel erg lekker, kalfsvlees te droog, ravioli goed gesmaakt en sirloin steak prima. Dus wil niet te negatief zijn, maar ik zal er niet meer gaan eten. Service matig, borden werden al weggehaald terwijl we nog niet allemaal klaar waren met eten en alles duurde echt lang. 1,5 uur pas voorgerecht en dan nog een uur daarna het hoofdgerecht. Ik zal verder geen tijd meer besteden aan het het dessert, het was homemade…maar heb zeker betere gehad die niet te stevig of te waterachtig waren.

Not the best service. Portion of food smaller than shown in menu.. A bit slap dash when spoons drooped on table and just incase you wanna share. Will not return.

The gluten free pizza I had was the best ever! The rest of the family did not have to be gluten free and said their meals were amazing. The service was great! Next time we are in London we will return to Zonzo.

Great fresh pasta with seafood, and veg lasagne, lovely people

We arrived at 8pm and shown to our table promptly and given menu's. 20mins later we were not even acknowledged by the waiter, eventually after another 5mins I had to get up from our table to ask the waiter if he could take our order. He came and took our order for food and drinks. Then another 5mins and we were given a complimentary garlic bread for our wait which was lovely. However, 20mins later still no drinks or food and we could see the barman and he was not even making any drinks. So we decided to cut our losses and asked to cancel our order as we had to be somewhere at 9.30pm and now it was nearly 8.50pm. We came or a meal last year when in london and it was lovely and the main reason we booked again as our son asked if we could come back.

A bit pricey, especially the wine list. The rosemary chicken was very nice, but the risotto was bland and almost tasteless. Yes, risotto is normally a bit on the bland side, but this was at the extreme limit of blandness.

We had a wonderful dinner at Zonzo. House cocktails, shared smoked salmon bruschetta starter, and risotto vongole and branzino Zonso mains along with a nice bottle of Sicilian Grecanico/sauvignon blanc blend. Excellent and friendly service.
