Amazing food and service, and a lovely venue. Will definitely be back

Unfortunately the downstairs seating area was booked out for a party which we was not told about. We arrive 20 minutes early and sat at the bar 10 minutes before being served with drinks then was told our table wouldn’t be ready at six because people that were doing bottomless punches weren’t leaving. Two tables in the window were really overlooked by the bar and one was sat right underneath the Seating area was all around. The bar tables were very close together with some very loud young people that were just drinking. It was not a restaurant atmosphere at all. The staff having asked people to leave they were just standing at the bar and carry on drinking and being very loud. We decide we would have to try and find somewhere else even though it was 10 minutes past the time of our booking on a Saturday evening. I will go back. as the menu did look nice. We were going to spend a lot of money I was going to have the Tomahawk steak to myself which is £65, i just hope the food isn’t disappointing as well. I would not ever sit downstairs for food either It’s just like sitting in a bar, not a restaurant

It was absolutely shocking! They said they didn’t have our reservation even though I had 2 emails confirming they had. We left and went elsewhere. The attitude was terrible, no heartfelt apology. It was my Birthday celebration evening, fortunately Cote Brasserie accommodated us and were excellent.

This was my first visit to Zukoa, wow what a great restaurant. The Food was excellent we had the Tomahawk Steak. The decor was beautiful and the lady serving was very attentive, she was busy as she served the drinks and also served the food. All in all a cracking experience. I liked it so much that I am taking the whole family back in mid October

The Express Lunch menu is superb, delicious food, generous portion sizes, great value for money will be visiting again soon.

Booked for 4 people, my recommendation as I've eaten here before and love it however my friend has a severe nut allergy and there was no allergy menu for her. So disappointed as we were under the impression every restaurant had to provide that facility. Please resolve this so we can visit soon

the service was awful. it took 20 minutes for someone to take our order and 30 minutes for the first drinks to be made during the bottomless brunch. the drinks were terrible and tasted like water.

Food was okay - music loud so made talking to our friends slightly difficult. Food was okay but not blown away. Staff where lovely but service was slow.

Fab time, excellent value for money. We did the bottomless brunch and the food was really good portion size and the drinks just kept flowing!

Disgraceful, booked it, turned up, no room for us 😲

We opted for the bottomless brunch with cocktails. The selection was basic but we could find things on the menu we liked. The service to start with was prompted. The food was average. The first few drinks didn't taste alcoholic. We sent 3 mojitos but as they tasted like mouthwash. The first 2 I had tasted alright, so not sure what happened there. We also sent to bellini back as they were horrible, couldn't decide if it was just cheap prossecco or off raspberry coulis. The service was slower after our first two drinks were served although the waiter was polite at all times. The venue was nicely decorated but the air con was on too high. Will not be recommending for food or drinks.

Last month I had an amazing 1kg Tomahawk, which was absolutely beautiful, cooked to perfect, the steak was absolutely 100% delicious, couldn’t fault it. Told my mum how amazing the Tomahawk was, so yesterday for her birthday, i surprised her with a lunch to Zokoa, with the 1kg Tomahawk. Well, I wouldn’t have even served the Tomahawk to a dog! The amount of fat on the steak was absolutely disgusting and gruesome. More fat than meat! I am deeply appalled by the quality served to me, especially as it was a gift for my mother. No apology from the waitress, she just spoke to the chef, whose response was ‘all the steaks are like that, no point cooking another one’. The waitress only offered to cook the steak more, what is that going to achieve? I wanted my steak medium/rare!!! I don’t want to eat the fat! No apology, no compensation. Highly disappointed after I’ve been raving on about how nice the steak was last month.

Served 1 round of drinks, order taken..forgotten about, 2nd round of drinks didn’t show. An hour passed and we asked for the bill so we could leave, the response “Havent you eaten yet?” No, no we haven’t. Apologies were provided and they wouldn’t let us pay for our 2 drinks. We went to Middletons instead, which was fantastic as always.

Absolutely delightful restaurant. Spotlessly clean and it had a wonderful atmosphere, I really enjoyed the background music and the water feature, it made for a wonderfully relaxing environment. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was quick but not rushed. The staff were incredible, really friendly and polite, smartly dressed, their manner setting you at ease. They are very attentive but not overbearing. It was a really lovely way to spend an afternoon and we have booked again straight away. 5 ⭐️

A number of the drinks on the wine list were unavailable, fillet steak was average. The cheesecake had strawberry sauce on it instead of chocolate as per the menu.
