Leicester and Indian restaurants go together like curry and rice
As you can see, we share an enthusiasm for Indian food with Leicester, and indeed for Indian restaurants. You’ll find genuinely authentic ones dotted all around the city, whether that be south of the centre around Aylestone Park and South Wigston, in the centre itself or, of course, north towards the world-renowned Belgrave Road that’s often referred to as the Golden Mile. But more about that later. As we said earlier, however, Indian restaurants in Leicester are lapped up in all forms thanks in large part to a huge multicultural influence and it’s this that goes a long way in ensuring their quality. An Indian person living in Leicestedoesn’t want restaurants that are second-rate, after all, they want ‘em good and they want ‘em proper.
