Went for dinner on a Sunday night. The restaurant was not overly busy but there was a nice atmosphere which was also helped by the lovely waitress (who was doing a trial shift - hope she got the job). As it was a birthday dinner we chose the tasting menu which was a great choice. Beautifully presented food and wonderful flavours. I particularly enjoyed mackerel remoulade and the stone bass with the cauliflower puree - amazing. The menu offers the opportunity to enjoy food that you would see in programmes such as 'Masterchef' but at affordable prices and great service. Hope to be back soon!

I am a vegetarian, it is never an easy decision to eat out...I love cooking even for myself. So what a pleasant surprise to find a restaurant that included a tasting menu with people like me in mind. From the very point of entry the service and staff were excellent. I originally decided to try 111 @ Nico because of the kitchen employment ethos, people's lives can be turned around by a caring society. As for the food it was extremely tasty and varied, personally one of the courses was too similar but that wasn't really a surprise with the choice of pea and asparagus being quite predominant but without a doubt it was delicious...I am not easily pleased in restaurants I don't think they do there job very well for non meat eaters. So thank you very much and I will return soon.

We had the tasting menu on a Monday night which was really good value for money. Every course was beautifully presented and the food was amazing, easily the best meal we have had this year. Two members of our party were vegan and the kitchen amended the vegetarian menu for them, all of their food looked delicious and they were really happy with it. The staff were friendly and engaging, and we had a fantastic evening. The only slight fault is that the service was a bit slow, which we didn't mind as we weren't in a hurry, but some people might find that a problem. However, we will definitely go again and have already recommended it to friends!

The food was delicious, as was the ambience. The food and wine were very reasonably priced for the quality on offer. Our only quibble was that the lighting at our table was very dim, making it difficult to see clearly what we were eating. The staff were very attentive without being intrusive. I heartily recommend this restaurant.

The food was delicious - an amuse bouche of cauliflower coloured set the standard at high. My starter and main didn't disappoint either. Lunch for two came in at £44, without drinks - a very reasonable price. Staff were attentive and friendly. As each plate of food was delivered, there was an accompanying description from the waiter - very handy for people like me who can't remember what the menu said! This is a lovely place to eat. I'd definitely return.

Food was great. Service was a bit fast so meal felt a bit rushed especially when having the wine matching with the five course tasting menu.

Really liked the ambition in the cooking and the very professional and charming service. Good atmosphere and prices very reasonable. Wine list too was comprehensive and to suit all budgets. Some tweaking to be done on the food but I'll be back.

Good excellent. Staff very attentive. The stone bass was outstanding and enjoyed by both. The ham hough starter was deliciously smoky and coffee creme brûlée perfect. Mackerel starter bit on the small side as was the chocolate salt caramel pudding which was only disappointment

Nico's is 5 minutes walk from my house, so I go fairly regularly. Food always interesting, excellent quality, fantastic value and the staff friendly. Well worth a small detour from the West End (£5 and 5 minutes in a cab).

Very tasty and beautifully presented food. Service friendly and courteous, but not fast - on the other hand, food was freshly cooked and we were not in a hurry. Prices on the high side, we felt, for the location, but parking nearby possible, which is a bonus

The food was really tasty and original, lovely service. The music though, was really not suited to the restaurant. With an open kitchen like that, it's noisy enough to not have music.
