8848 Restaurant

Food was excellent but service was poor. Staff were polite but no one approached us after our main was taken away so not offered to see the desert menu or coffee after our mains.

Food always tastes delicious, cooked to perfection. Staff are friendly and attentive without being over-bearing and you never feel rushed! Our favourite “Indian” (Nepalese) restaurant not just in Aberdeen but in the uk!

Food was delicious however overall the restaurant lacked atmposhphere and was very cold. Good selection however you’d expect that given there’s no shortage of Indian restarants in Aberdeeen

The menu and food were excellent, the place was packed (sign of success) and although we had to wait 30 minutes for our booked table, we had very attentive service.

Superb Service, Superb Food, and a great central location don't miss this place if you are in Aberdeen. A good wine list and freshly cooked food.

Food was very tasty and beautifully presented. What rather tinted the experience was being asked by a waiter with the initial “O” to put on a good review and mention his name to get him more money as he served the main course. When ordering more wine he commented, that will get me more money. The waitress was so polite, but so softly spoken, that none of the 4 of us could hear. We also had to request some items twice. It was such a shame as our previous experience was so very positive.

Nicely presented restaurant with car parking not too far away. We were welcomed and given a nice table. Service was good throughout and the food was beautiful. Certainly one of the very best Indian Restaurants in Aberdeen.

Food was excellent, service was excellent, as soon as we arrived we felt really welcome and the gentleman at the door was very welcoming by knowing exactly who we were when we came through the door.

It was great, staff friendly, food was nice, beer was good. It wasn't quite up there with the best of the best, hence 5 stars instead of 6.

Went with friends to celebrate a birthday, could not fault the meal. The staff were excellent, they even gave the birthday girl cake with 'happy birthday' written on the plate, such a lovely touch. Will certainly be back to sample more from the delicious menu

Very friendly efficient staff. Food was full of flavour. I chose a king prawn Nepalese dish, which was tasty, but only 2 king prawns. Really good brûlée.

Excellent restaurant! The service was very good - attentive but not too much and equally immediate if we wished anything. The food was very tasty, temperature hot and well presented. We were also left after our meal to enjoy our own conversation and not bothered.

Fabulous food, lovely relaxed atmosphere & delightful, informative and friendly staff. What's not to love? Definitely one to go back to! Although on this occasion I was driving they have a really interesting wine list, so I think I'll get the bus next time!!

Fantastic food! Will definitely return as the food was so good. The service was quite slow as it was a busy Saturday night but it did not detract from what was a fantastic night out and great meal.

Visited early on a Saturday evening with 2 other couples and we had a very enjoyable time. Good food and plenty of choice. The restaurant was busy, but the service was good and the staff were friendly and helpful, as one of our party required a gluten free diet. Would certainly visit again

Fabulous food. Quality was excellent, nan breads amazing! Seven of us went for the set menu which gave us a bit of everything. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely return.
