This was our first visit there but will most definitely not be our last. We thought the food was excellent. Staff were all lovely too. Highly recommend it.

Had a reservation and we got given a table right at the back away from all the other customers for some reason! We were casually dressed so perhaps that was why. Service and food good. Staff lovely but it took ages to pay despite having a debit card to pay on display on the table for a long while. I had to ask to pay. Hardly any chicken in my main - it was mostly sauce and hardly any meat at all. I can't usually finish a curry in an Indian restaurant but this time I was not even filled up!

Easy to book online and for large group. Fixed menu had a range of delicious food. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good value for money.

Good service, good atmosphere and excellent food. Beware the 3 chillies against some dishes, these are HOT (but tasty). Good mix of indian and nepalese cuisine.

Always good food and great service - one of the best curries in Aberdeen. Top end of Union St. So very convenient if in town.

Lovely flavoursome curries, great service, and overall a nice place to have a meal. And they have new teas to have at the end of the meal. Our favourite curry house in Aberdeen. I recommend it highly.

Excellent. Service was very friendly and attentive but not intrusive. And made to feel welcome the moment we arrived. Food was of a very high standard. Excellent in fact. The staff were able to advise on quantities of sides etc really accurately for the number of guests. The restaurant overall is really well laid out to allow all tables privacy and was bustling with all tables full on the ground floor and upstairs looking pretty busy. If you're looking for modern Indian food in an elegant atmosphere then would definitely recommend it. lWill definitely return.

This is my third visit here. I am always impressed by the food and quality of service . Shynol and Anna in particularly were superb. The most difficult part of dining at 8848 is trying to choose which main course to have- and not ordering too many of the delicious starters.

We went with the set meal for 8 people and the food was all really excellent. We had pre-pre starters, pre-starters then starters, WOW! The service and staff are awesome. Will definitely be back again.

We have eaten at 8848 many times and have never been disappointed. The food is delicious and the staff are always very friendly and efficient.

Lovely meal, delicious fresh food with amazing flavours. Friendly, helpful & attentive staff. Great atmosphere. We stayed for 3 hours. Generous desserts! Would recommend, will definitely be back.

Excellent meal. The set menu with table buffet was a great idea as we could ask for more if need be, and we did. A few at our table did not like fish so we ordered more chicken.

It’s a great restaurant. Fantastic service & Amazing food. All staff very friendly & helpful. I will highly recommend this place to anyone... few names -Kris, Basant, Bruno, Anna.. they all take proud in providing a great customer service.

Fantastic night, service was exceptional but not to in your face, food was as always excellent and the little part of theatre was welcomed. All the party enjoyed and we will certainly be back. Well done

Great food, good service. Only drawback was our table location felt a bit like the people at the next table were warching our every move and we could certainly hear every word of their conversation.

Lovely night had with the family and the food was excellent. The staff were really nice towards my 3 year old son also and we will definitely be back.

Good food. Portion sizes just right. No waste what so ever. Menu a mixture of chef's specialities and old favourites. Staff pleasant and attentive. Will return.

Excellent food, and very attentive service. Waitress however did not return change and instead took everything left over as tip - she probably should have returned the money instead of making an assumption.

Excellent Indian (nepalese) food, service a little slow but it was Sat night and very full. Choice restricted because all fish potentially contaminated with shellfish , but really good food, with dishes being very different to standard Indian . Will go back!

Attentive staff, lovely restaurant. Starters very tasty but small portion size. Curries very flavoursome, but let down by precooked hard chicken. Naan bread was star of meal.

Very good food and extremely polite and courteous staff. We will definitely use this restuarant again. Would like salt and pepper left on the table as I found the salt content a wee bit low in the food.
