Wonderful! 3 time I've been to Adelphi and 3 time it's been spot on. Couldn't fault it. I love that the meat and produce are sourced locally.

The food was nice although my starter was slightly cold when it arrived. From the last time I was there, it would appear the portions are smaller than before but was still a nice meal. .

Great food. Wasn’t the best seating position. Kind of ruined the date. Will be back again but after better seating

Pop in for a quick bite before a night out, service was good but found the food to be over seasoned - Poussin I had was over salted and dry so unfortunately did not make for an enjoyable meal. Will give them another go though as it does have a nice atmosphere and can hopefully get the food up to the same standards as the old Adelphi Kitchen

I had the surf and turf. The quality of food was excellent (especially the venison), but their wasn't much of it! The restaurant, where we were sitting was also quite cold

Not a huge menu to choose from but was still difficult to decide what to order. The special of steak, scallops and haggis was delicious . Lovely helpful staff also

Good food, imaginatively put together and served. Cooking was perfect - I had the surf and turf and the scallops were just right. Friendly service well judged.

The Adelphi is one of my favourite restaurants in Aberdeen. It never fails to disappoint!! It’s fancy pub food and I love it! The surf and turf is always a winner!

Nice food, some unusual menu items, reasonable prices, nice ambience and service was great! It was a little quiet when we first arrived but soon got busy. A hidden gem!

The food was excellent - the whole party enjoyed the various selections from the menu. Only criticism was that there was no alcohol-free beer which is a must for restaurants as we strive to keep people who have consumed alcohol off our streets (good choices would be Becks Blue or Erdinger wheat beer. Excellent, friendly service.

Nice food, nice atmosphere. Only down side was the table was a bit tight for 4 adults - it was a struggle to get plates, wines water etc on.

Both my wife and I were disappointed by the main course of our meal. The starter of spicy tomato soup was delicious. Even though the cost of your sirloin steak was expensive, my wife chose it but was told much later that it wasn't available; she didn't really want anything else on your menu but was encouraged to choose the hanger steak, which turned out under-cooked so was declined. My choice of surf and turf was disappointing because the small amount of hanger steak had sinew throughout and the scallops were very small. Also, the price of your wines is above average for the restaurant type. Neither of us chose a desert from your limited offers available. The only saving grace for us is that our waitress was charming and very helpful, otherwise the evening would have been very unsatisfactory.

Lovely cosy restaurant and had one course off the lunch menu. The fish cake, garnish and sauce were very tasty and would have given it full marks but it was served with frozen skinny fries. I'm not a frozen chip fan.

Terrible experience.Only people there .Not a good sign on Friday night.Ordered 2 starters and everything brought together.Staff did not seem bothered. They offered to keep food hot while had soup but brought back out cold and chips greasy and inedible.Money was taken off the bill but did not make up for poor experience.

We had a wonderful meal at Adelphi and the staff were cheerful and attentive. The menu was extensive with something for everybody and they catered for one of our guests who is gluten free in their stride

I really like the restaurant itself and the staff are really friendly. The menu appears to be good and our starter of buffalo cauliflower wings were tasty but the main really didn't work. The fish tacos were dry (breaded not battered) and the pickled cabbage didn't pair well with the relish. At 16 pounds for the fish tacos it was too pricey for the quality received. I would go back to try a meat dish and give it a second chance as the staff were lovely and it does have a nice atmosphere.

Very warm welcome when we arrived, I had called ahead to say we were running 10 mins late and this was not a problem. Great menu, not too big but great selection. We also had to be at the theatre by a certain time and they could not have more accommodating. Food was fantastic, will definitely be back.

Our first visit here and the food was great but be prepared for a tight squeeze! There were four of us and although none of us were huge, we found the tables were a bit small.

We had a nice evening but were not overwhelmed. The service was good but the food was only OK. I understand that it's under new management but unfortunately it just wasn't as good as it used to be.

We were early but were welcomed with a smile. Our whole lunch experience was great. The food and drink were exactly as described. The house wines are of a good quality. We can't wait to go back in an evening , to explore the complete menu.

Good service. Three of us at our table ordered house spice haddock, mussle tempura & a sweetcorn gumbo which was okay (£18) which I think was overpriced. This was okay. My wife ordered the Adelphi burger - 6oz beef patty, bbq pulled pork, spicy pepperoni, buffalo chicken wings, jalapeno cheese served with house spice fries, dijon mayo, salad & blue cheese sauce (£17) which she did not like. For dessert I had Keylime Pie (£7). . . I've had better.

Imaginative food and fantastic service from Maddie. We had the chicken wings and short ribs as starters. The wings would have been better with a buffalo sauce I personally think but the short ribs were perfect. For mains we had fish tacos (deconstructed) and the pork ribs with mole. Yumm.

Food was ok but not as good as expected, squid was rubbery and everything else was average at best. I was hoping the old la Stella style would creep back in but unfortunately not still BBQ focused like everywhere else in th city unfortunately. I don't think we will be returning to eat there anytime soon.
