Fantastic food in a very comfortable location, very friendly service - can recommend this restaurant!! Surf & Turf was the best I ever had. Prices are fair and overall quality superb. 100 %

Excellent, tasty food! Waitress did well to say she was the only one serving, offered her advice on drinks and was very friendly. Would definitely go back!

The food was great but we were waiting for quite a long time. The waitresses were all very attentive and friendly and made us aware that our meals were taking a bit longer which was appreciated. Just a shame we were there for over two hours for only two courses.

Good & staff were both excellent. I would highly recommend it to anyone. The cocktails were also yummy. I can't wait to go back again

Very happy with the service we received whilst having dinner with my fiancé.Warm welcome and relaxed feel to the place although small, this adds to the atmosphere. Food was of good quality and we enjoyed what we had. We would return again for another meal.

Recently re-opened. Excellent food and service. This place could do with some publicity as it was nearly empty. It still looks closed from the outside which doesn't help.

too busy and short staffed but they were apologetic about it and food was not too bad. Girls were friendly and tried their best to give their service and make amends.

Decent place. Nice decor. Lovely staff. Good food. Reasonable prices. Only issue was waiting times as the staff seemed overrun. Felt bad for them as they tried their best but it had an impact on cutlstomer experience. One couple waited 20 mins for desert. Our desert order was never even taken. Then we had to leave.

Absolutely amazing night. The staff had printed out different menus for us as we have food allergies. In the end I was made a surprise dish which I absolutely loved. Lovely restaurant and staff and can't wait to return!

Visited a few times before under precious ownership and unfortunately this time was not up to the usual standard at all... let down to say the least.

An outstanding restaurant in Aberdeen. This was a fantastic dining experience. Delicious food with amazing novel options, cooked very well indeed. Innovative cocktails. It was my friend's birthday and they made it an incredibly special event which was hugely appreciated. The decor is classy yet relaxed and the service was wonderfully friendly.

It's good to see Adelphi Kitchen back, once more serving up cooking inspired by the Deep South, US. Health food this is not, so it's important to go hungry. Not sure my appetite was truly up to it last night as I left feeling a bit overstuffed. That said, the scallops I had as a starter were perfectly cooked, I was 't crazy about the white pudding 'soil' , but it made a change from the more common black pudding. The blackened fish was also perfectly cooked, but I could have done with more focus on the fish and less on the mashed potatoes. The other fish special, the smoked haddock fishcake, didn't sound very light either. The small wine list was interesting and the one we chose was excellent. Will go back though as it's such a unique offering in Aberdeen

First time back at AK since it re-opened. Love the interior and staff were nice and friendly. We were a group of 4 for pre-theatre dinner. The food, wine and service was excellent. The menu style has changed from what I recall but still very good. I will give a slight criticism in that the desserts, although very good, were not of the same quality as the appetizers and entrees. Glad to see this lovely restaurant back in business and I look forward to my next visit.

we were a table of six people and found the menu excellent, staff we very friendly and welcoming the restaurant was decorated very well and although small we were seated comfortably, we will definatly go back

As if it had never been away. No big changes in the restaurant, food as excellent as always. Our waitress was welcoming, friendly and efficient. My ribeye steak was delicious and perfectly cooked. Happy to have the restaurant open again, I will be back very soon!

Nice food, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Our starter came out very quickly but service of the main course was very slow; it took about an hour from when we arrived.

Visited with my family last weekend. Excellent service and fantastic food. They were very helpful with one of our group who is gluten intolerant. Will definitely recommend to friends.

Enjoyed sharing the special surf and turf with pulled brisket and the blackened fish. Also shared the cheesecake & chocolate mousse cake . Environment was relaxed but attentive . Would definitely recommend a visit

Good atmosphere and decor, great song list, good food. Service was also attentive. We ordered from the menu and only realized while eating our meal that we had missed seeing some of the specials on wall as they were behind a pillar. Staring and craning our necks to try to read the specials was difficult and they'd be better served to run through them better or hand them out. Cocktails were all very fruity so we stayed away from them. Wine list is small but good and we enjoyed the wine.

My wife and I dined here for valentines day. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the menu, although limited, is all from locally sourced ingredients and the dishes are high quality Scottish cuisine. I ordered the venison which was divine and came with perfectly cooked dauphinoise potatos, which, on top of my scallop starter was fantastic. However my wife ordered the Mussel's starter from the specials board which was rather bland, salt being the only distinguishable flavour. Her main was also dissappointing, a Gnocci dish, that really didn't seem at home on the menu and really was a poor attempt to cater for vegetarians. Those negatives aside, I would have still rated Adelphi kitchen highly and merely considered it poor luck on the night for those particular dishes. However, to finish, we ordered what sounded like an amazing dessert. Butterscotch pannacotta. This was the real let down of the night, not only because the flavours didn't work at all, but because the pannacotta was clearly imprinted by the CE markings from the plastic container it had been removed from, and the strange cakes that came with it were also clearly store bought. I would still recommend Adelphi, but stick to the menu's strengths and avoid the dessert menu completely.

Excellent food and service - what more would you want! The restaurant decor is best described as rustic Scottish and works well in it's quaint setting.

Very nice venue, well presented and very warm welcome. Its not cheap but using best of good quality local ingredients. Good to have this venue back!!!

Great servoce, and I heartily recommend the specials! Amazing food and coctails all around :)really appreciated tat they took our coats to hang in the back while we ate.

Very tasty food, although lunch portions were a lot smaller than what I remembered. Wish they'd bring back the lunch deals they had under previous admin.

We ate here on Saturday 15th were met at the door by friendly staff and shown to our table, service and food was excellent would definitely recommend having a meal here.

Lovely food, we went on a Thursday night and it was quite quiet. Waitress and waiter were very attentive and accommodating especially with explaining the different specials.

I recently visited for a meal with my fiance. We both had a lovely meal. Waitresses were really accomodating and easy to speak with. Will definately recommend.

Surf and turf menu. The restaurant in side is very pleasant. Waiting staff were lovely, however the food was unsatisfactory. Two drinks we tried to order on the menu were out of stock. The starter was missing a component and had to be sent back. The main came with a different side as the chef "didn't have time" The fries with the other main were over salted to the point of inedible. We were told the usual chef was on holiday so I'm not sure who was filling in but they were substandard and likely struggling. I'd be happy to try again when the usual chef is back

Great intimate venue, friendly attentive staff and great food. Excellent selection of evening special choices. Type of food similar to Maggies Grill but more upscale. Recommended.
