A great little restaurant. Friendly staff. Good prices. Great food. Chef came round the tables and spoke to customers for feedback. Nice touch. Been s fee times before and will visit again. Never been disappointed.
Our second only visit to Agra didn't disappoint. The ambience is very relaxed (even when the restaurant is busy) and the menu is suitably extensive. With all the dishes one would expect from a good Indian restaurant, plus a few new and exciting variations, there is something for everyone. The portions are generous so we shared a starter of mixed pakora, which was delightful. I chose the garlic bhoona lamb for my main and this was absolutely amazing, with the most tender meat I have ever tasted in an Indian establish ment. My husband decided on the chicken tikka with a chasni sauce, which he is still raving about. The accompaniments and sundries are excellent too. The ciders are beautifully chilled and the wine list varied and reasonably priced. The service is excellent and the staff are attentive without being invasive. All in all, another wonderful evening and I would recommend Agra to anyone who wants to experience excellent Indian cuisine in an unpretentious but comfortable setting. (Robert & Derek, Anniesland).
It was a little difficult to find. The interior was standard for this type of restaurant but very clean, especially the bathrooms. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The menu was interesting with some new dishes. The food was ok in generally but I had tikka king prawns and they were very salty and I had to leave them. We tried the restaurant with Tesco clubcard boost and were generally satisfied because it didn't cos us much. Definitely won't return and pay full price as there is much better value and quality available elsewhere.
Service is friendly and efficient. Prices are reasonable and food is very tasty. I had lamb chasni, lamb was very tender and there was plenty of it.
Food was excellent but the service was not. Timing was fine but the waiter was quite abrupt and appeared disinterested. Would not stop me going but would effect it being my top choice
Friendly, polite service. Relaxed, comfortable setting. Delicious food and generous portion sizes. Would definitely go there again. Perfect for an intimate dinner or a group of friends.
Family run Indian restaurant, hidden gem we tried for the first time - and were delighted. Amazing food - the flavours were delicious. We'll be back 😀
Great tasting food, and loads of it. Friendly welcoming staff. I hadn't been there in 30 years, but it was as good as I remembered.
Neve disappointed with this local Indian restaurant tucked away in an offset part of Crow Road. Lovely food, well presented and reasonably priced. Call me pedantic, but I like a restaurant with sanitised toilets, working dryers, no clutter on exits, cutlery and crockery that are properly cleaned. This little gem meets all my requirements. I'll certainly return.
South Indian garlic chicken tasted of tomato soup and karahi was milder than a kurma even after asking it to be madras hot not a lot of tatste either chapatis overdone like crisp breads .
We had a delicious meal and were treated very well by each member of staff. The meal portions were generous, so we were well satisfied.
Staff were very attentive but never rushed us. Were welcoming and friendly. Food was delicious and good choice on menu - good to see most dishes had vegetarian option.Nice relaxed atmosphere
Great restaurant, lovely food at a reasonable price, friendly staff, definitely go back Used my tesco club card boost to pay my bill, couldn't of not used them any better
We paid our first visit to Agra on Saturday evening and were not disappointed. From the delicious food to the excellent service, we had a hugely enjoyable experience and will most definitely return very soon. Thank you all at Agra for a wonderful anniversary dinner.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was lovely and didn't have to wait too long between courses. Overall a very enjoyable experience and would highly recommend.
Lovely staff and food with a huge variety of curries to choose from and good portion sizes. Would recommend the sharing platter starter! Very nice atmosphere too, quiet and personal service.
Absolutely fabulous food! The staff are courteous, efficient and friendly. The ambience is warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend this hidden gem of a restaurant.
Booked for 2 persons but they accommodated my friends too at the very last minute. Good food, wide range of curries, certainly one to go back for
