Table was right next to the bar, waiters constantly had to slide into the small gap between us to get food. the table was very unstable and moved around a lot. The service was unhelpful, chicken was slightly undercooked.

For a Central London restaurant, you would have thought the prices would be ridiculously high for something as simple as a lamb shawarma wrap. But no, the prices are so fair and reasonable you can go and enjoy a whole meal for just £10. The food quality is good in all aspects and the restaurant is clean and well maintained. This is close to Hyde Park so you can to relax in the park after a meal. With its competitors, Al Arez shines out as a more affordable restaurant, but that price does not affect the quality of food which is very high. I would for sure come back to this restaurant for the food and service.

Nice place, suitable for families, nice food, clean, not all of the staff are smiley, Ordered Mixed grill twice, came back cold in both times. Grilled beef or lamb ribs are better in other places

Lovely food. Service could be improved. We were not asked about the food at all. Portions were ok size. Complimentary baklava at the end was a good choice.

long times waiting due to short of staff, we had to ask 4 times for water and glasses and wait more than half an hour with food on the table. Food was good.

Nice food (huge portions), friendly and relaxed service. Highlights included excellent baba ghanoush with shawarma and the best haloumi I’ve ever had on Edgeware Road!

We had a fabulous time. The service was great and attention from the waiter was nice. The food was lovely and portion size was very generous. Lovely atmosphere and the complimentary fruit then tea and sweets just topped it all off.

The food was ok but the staff were told several time on different occasion to get us water but all they did is go to the counter and talk amongst each other. So many times I went up to the counter and asked for glasses or water and on one occasion knifes. Service is crap but the food was ok.
