Lovely prawn starter followed by penne arabiata....nice staff made me comfortable as I was on my own. Quiet when I was there but still a good experience
Authentic Italian food and wine, served by friendly but not obtrusive staff (mainly Italians) in a nice atmosphere despite the slightly 'modern' feel. Very quiet on a Wednesday evening but deserves to be the 'go to place' for reasonably priced pizza, pasta or main courses.
Delicious pasta, kind service. Definitely returning. The clam mussel pasta and small salad make an excellent combination. Fun servers, just ask and they’ll make it work out.
Hats off to the staff our steaks were tough but they came and sorted it gave us an other option the second option was amazing as was our starter
Pleasant attentive service appropriate for restaurant style. Restaurant was perhaps a little bare in decor but could be described as authentic Italian. Good choice on menu
The food was ok , the service was fine but the place was quite cold. The he.ating needs to be on for a while before guests arrive
Excellent food in a very good atmosphere and prices were very Reasonable. Staff very attentive and service was excellent. That's why we keep going there......and lamb chops were delicious...yummy.
We had a lovely meal in Al Dente. Really good food and the staff were lovely. Very attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back there.
We had a very nice meal at Al Dente on Sat night from their early evening menu. It was good value with our 2 course meal for four with tea or coffee, a bottle of wine and a round of drinks for £90. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back again.
Good location close to city centre. Nice warm restaurant and attentive staff. Delicious food from the lunch menu - homemade minestrone soup, pork escalopes with mushrooms, served with broccoli and potatoes. Excellent.
The menu looks way better than the food actually is. I had the ansjovis and salmon starter, which was too greasy, swimming in olive oil. My partner had the mixed antipasto, on the menu it said to be assorted cured meat with grilled and marinated veggies, but it as only with a bit of lettuce, 1 baby tomato, 1 grilled artisjoke and 1 sundried tomato. Everything was clearly storebought, which was dissappointing. The main was a bit better, although the sage-and-buttersauce on my agnolotti had split. My partner enjoyed the pennette amatriciana. Service was okay. We were the only customers, probably because we were there during the match Schotland - England.
Great, authentic Italian restaurant in Central Glasgow. Food is excellent, Chef and house wines are Abruzzesi, staff are amazing friendly, led by Leonardo il Toscano - what's not to like? We'll be back again. A presto e grazie mille.
They were still hoovering when we arrived and they weren't aware if our booking but later found it. The Italian singing waiter was entertaining and I enjoyed my pizza but the price if the fish and steak dishes were very expensive for a casual pizzeria, mostly around £20, then extra for side dishes.
