I been living on Brick Lane for about 30 years now and funnily enough I don't normally like curry. However my friends from Asia came over for a visit and they really wanted a curry so they could compare it to the curries they get back home. So we decided to walk along brick lane centre of indian and Bangladeshi food to find a slap up curry. Eventually we came across Aladin. It was amazing. It totally made me love curry and I have decided to make it a monthly thing. The staffs especially Bodz and Manna were really welcoming and charming which made the vibe really fun. I would recommend the sizzling dishes as well as the chicken moducash, Thank you Aladin :)

Absolutely amazing restaurant. One of the best in London! The atmosphere, food and service were brilliant. We visited on Sunday lunchtime, the restaurant was full, good that we booked in advance. The food was delicious especially the royal dish Chicken Tikka Blast! The service from Manna and Bodz were top class. Will definitely return again!

The BEST Curry House I have ever been too in Brick Lane...! Always 10 OUT OF 10.I recently took a group of 30 People for my Birthday and reserved the Private Party Room (which is known as the Executive Lounge). What a SPECTACULAR EVENING that was. The service was FANTASTIC as always and the Curry was MIND BLOWING!!!!!!!. Everyone enjoyed the evening and they are still talking about THE GORGEOUS CURRY. "ALADIN - WE ARE COMING BACK".

I went to Aladin with a group of friends and simply loved it. The curry is great, I loved the Tikka Masala and all my mates also enjoyed their dishes. The service was dazzling and the price was even better. Overal a fantastic place for good curry at a great price with the top level of service around that area...

Always a nice experience at Aladin Brick Lane, the food is really good. The waiting time for the food etc. could be a little shorter and my dish was a tiny little bit better the previous time, but overall, I can recommend the restaurant. :-)

Great lambs curry! A bit too noisy for us, this particlar Wednesday evening. Service was polite and attentive. We had a nice visit, but will be earlier next time.

Food was good but wasn't made aware before booking that they didn't have an alcohol licence. Was a bit awkward to send across to the local off licence for a beer.

We were seated quickly but food was average. Samosas were overly greasy, and lamb was extremely tough- which is strange, for lamb. Service was fairly decent.

Very tasty, good-sized servings. We had 10 dishes plus rice and naan for a family of 7 and left completely stuffed! Just watch out for the staff who continually try to "upsell".

Staff were quite pushy when ordering trying to get us to order other more expensive dishes. Service was slow. Starter came out with the main. Discount not added to bill so had to ask for it. Disappointed after all the hype.

Very accommodating to our large and rowdy group. Forgot to bring out a meal or two (understandable with 30+ people sharing). Nice staff, fun environment.

Amazing food, great atmosphere AND BYOB. We even got 20% our bill by booking through Quandoo. It's the perfect place to go with a large group of people in central London.

Excellent food and service--we have already made plans to visit again with friends. The food is genuine (we've lived in that part of the world and are picky) and they can fire up the spiciness if you want--really good!

The food is great and reasonably priced and the service is quick. I have found, however, that the waiters can be a little pushy when ordering and try to drive you towards choosing the more expensive dishes. Other than that, I'd recommend it.

Aladin Brick Lane. Sat night. I had pre-booked to meet friends. The service was rushed and slap dash. The food was quite plain. Not delicious. Nasty artwork on walls.

Food good, not outstanding, had better from my local takeaway and I don't have to wait 45 minutes for it. Beware of the popadums that they bring to the table whilst you wait, normally given free in every Indian restaurant I've eaten in but they charge you for this here but don't tell you. Asked for tap water and was also charged for that which again is unheard of and is appalling. Would I return? Definitely not, would I recommended this restaurant? No, unless it's to someone from trading standards.

Got 40% off as we booked and were seated between 4&6pm (says that on their website) and the food was superb. Friendly, attentive waiters too which is something u don't always find in Brick Lane. Well worth a visit.

Delicious food, great service, loud atmosphere but makes for a very "Brick Lane" experience. Despite having tried a number of other curry houses on and off Brick Lane, I keep coming back to this one. Would highly recommend Aladin!

Great food - some of the best on Brick Lane. The service is not the greatest, busy place so it's slow. But as a BYO you can drink plenty until your food comes.

Really good curry, we had the house special award winning chicken tikka blast and it was very good. I didn't realise the restaurant was not licensed so take your own drink but the staff are happy to send a runner to a nearby shop for you if you forget.

Staff were nice. Starters was very good but I found my main meal a bit bland. The Dall side dish was the worst that I have had as was very powdery. Price was good and like being able to take your own drink in there.

We had a lovely vegetarian starter and two mains from the chef's special. The king prawn one didn't taste that much of prawns, but the overall dish was lovely. It was our first time. I expected, from the reviews, even more tasty food, hence I am giving it 4. But I will return there, taste something else and review hopefully with 5 or 6 stars. A great bonus to have the 20% discount as we booked online. Overall, we were satisfied.
