Glasgow is home to some superb Italian restaurants, a legacy of the years of immigration from the bel paese to the Dear Green Place. If you’re in the looking for one of the very best in Italian’s in the city centre, then you need to head to Pitt Street and Alla Italia. They’re perfectly placed for a pre-theatre meal in Glasgow or for a special evening out, with a menu that encompasses the finest of thousands of years of culinary traditions. We’d recommend taking them up on one of their set menus, where you can discover the full extent of the repertoire: from wild mushroom arancini balls and calamari to start, through to a huge range of pizza and pasta or a house signature barbecued swordfish or Scottish fillet steak. Make sure you book ahead, however, as they have been known to fill up quickly.
Good food and choice on set menu. Like the fact you can choose from both italian and Turkish menus. However, set menu offered roast veg pizza but my son prefers pepperoni. This was charged at full a la carte rate. I felt there could have been a bit of leeway and allow this PIZZA to be included on set menu. However will definitely visit again as convenient for theatre
