Good quality food and super service Only small criticism Didn’t realise the table was only booked for a few hours as we had a 7.45 pm slot but was asked to move by 945pm - so it wud be helpful if that was explained upfront Would certainly revisit as great entertainment

The show and the atmosfere was great, but the chicken dish I had was not so good. Drinking and is perfect at your place. I'll be back, but not to eat.

Place was empty when we got there despite it being the only reservation time left when we booked. Limited menu choice for veggies and the service felt very rushed.

Had scallops and carpaccio as starters scallops were delicious carpaccio was more salami/ham/pastrami sort of thing which was great for UK standards (can do with less sauce though). Mullet and lamb as main were sumptuous had a sharing desert largely enough for 2 people and very tasty. Chili red wine was surprisingly fruity. Overall the meal was perfect, music&dj&dancers are the reason why I chose this restaurant in the first place. The prices are more than correct. Highly recommend.

Interesting dining environment, friendly staff, distinctive and loud gospel/blues singers and undistinguished food. Visit for the great space, good bar and ambience - probably not the food.

Food was great, service was excellent, I received 4 phone calls telling me my table was ready when I was half way through my main, a bit annoying but pleased overall

Good food and service but fairly expensive and very pricey drinks. 5 people eating and 3 drinking and the bill was approx £225! That was only 2 courses. Will probably put us off coming again unfortunately.

Great venue - quite unique in fact. We had the Sunday brunch - which is more of a Sunday lunch menu. Very tasty and they were happy to change the roast beef which was slightly more done than we liked. Great service and friendly and happy staff.

The restaurant is set in an old church and has a bar downstairs. The food was absolutely sublime and possibly the nicest meal I have eaten for a very long time. The menu was quite small but very different and each ingredient used screamed quality. My tastebuds were certainly awoken! However, for me, it was the quality of service that was the standout element of the evening. Perfect in every way. Absolutely fabulous night.

Our friends went 2 weeks before and really enjoyed it, my wife and I thought it was overpriced rubbish, the food was warm not hot, the gospel choir were nothing special and didn't interact just sang from the stage and the toilets were stinking with overflowing bins and horrible loos. Waste of money in our honest opinion and would be embarrassed to recommend it.

Lovely meal and the service was second to none. We indulged in the 2-4 -1 cocktails(order before 7pm) and they were very moreish! The rib eye steak was extremely tender and lean and not outrageous price, in fact all meals are reasonably priced. They add a 20% service charge which I have never agreed with in restaurants - I believe if you wish to reward the waiting staff, the amount should be at your discretion. Otherwise, a most enjoyable experience 👍

Amazing restaurant and club, the concept of refurbishment makes this place very special. The food was very good and different, unfortunately the service was over zealous. We did talk to the manageress who was very pleasant and offered us a free liqueur coffee, which was greatly appreciated. I felt it was a shame that the restaurant was full of hen parties, but I guess that's business. Sadly we didn't see the show I suspect if we had we would rate higher.

Disappointing. Food average / bland. Dessert was horrid.... dry meringue... they forgot the ice cream. Ambience non existent. We probably picked the wrong night.. Monday. Never mind. We won’t be back.

Everything thing was great. The staff were excellent and the food was also very good. The only issue was the music was very loud and we couldn’t chat to each other. I assume this was because our reservation was 9.00pm as I have been to this restaurant before and didn’t find this to be a problem.

Arrived at Alma de Cuba, shown to our table, asked for recommendations from the staff, who recommended the lamb main, had the sweet potato and chorizo croquettes to start followed by lamb, followed by polenta cake, all the food was beautiful. Went downstairs after the meal for cocktails, again service was brilliant. Would recommend this place to others for both food or just drinks.

Lovely venue but we had to wait for one hour for food to arrive. Food not brilliant in quality or portion size as they want you to order sides to make meal more expensive. They said there was no co2 so couldn't order beer on draft just the expensive bottle bear but all the other bars in Liverpool didn't have a problem with co2
