Amazing and authentic food, proper Spanish one. Amazing wine, even the house wine Amazing service, friendly, from different parts of Spain I definitely recommend it
I will definitely go back, the food is delicious. It is like being in Spain and the staff is very friendly and helpful . Totally recommend Amantia!!
Went on a busy Saturday night. Even with booking slight delay getting to table but hosts were very apologetic about this. Food was very good - tapas plates are a good size for sharing. My vegetarian friend was slightly disappointed with the aubergine fried with honey as this could have been a bit crisper. She was also disappointed that the only vegetarian main was a Greek salad (although she did point out it was one of the best Greek salads she'd had in a long time). Our mains of sea bass with salsa verde and lemon sole were breathtakingly good. Further evidence that good ingredients cooked simply are sometimes the best. Sadly we were too full for pudding but the churros are supposed to be spectacular. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable as well.
Excellent yet again, beautifully cooked food, surroundings and staff. Really looking forward to going again over Christmas as the atmosphere is lovely and the restaurant is a great addition to Birmingham's culinary scene.

Such a lovely restaurant with a great atmosphere. The staff were very friendly. Drinks could have been delivered faster but the restaurant was busy so that's ok. beautiful food.
A bit chilly when we got in and the meatballs were a bit plain and not enough meat but everything else was great :) Would recommend.
Lovely surprise. I didn't check any reviews, ironically I think we don't use own our experiences enough to decide something. Anyway, it was fab, food was delicious with loads of choice. My friends love sea food so were spoilt for choice. We saw the flamenco show downstairs and it was wonderful. You could almost imagine leaving the room and been in the med. We'll definitely be going back.
Great, authentic Spanish food and wine and good service...this is the second time I have visited (lunch this time and dinner last) and I will be going back the next time I am up on business in Birmingham!
Went on a Monday night, dead quiet - unfortunately no atmosphere. Didn't like the music playing too much either, sorta spanish western music. Food was ok; maybe we ordered the wrong things but everything was deep fried. Shared 6 tapas between the 2 of us, good amount of food. Ok but definitely not as good as eating in Spain!
Excellent food and service. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to others who enjoy spani food. Prices relatively reasonable for a city centre restaurant. Paella and tapas special available on Sundays
Great food, service and atmosphere. This really is quality food at reasonable prices and with the added bonus of great friendly and efficient service in a great buzzing atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Nice, fantastic service, friendly and 100% professional. Real Spanish food , highly recommend. You can feel the Spanish atmosphere as soon as you come in.
First visit here after attending several Spanish restaurants in the past. Really enjoyed the food, fabulous pork cheek and lovely wine. Staff very friendly. We will be back!
Amazing food and amazing service; they went out of their way to make our dinner a memorable one. real Spanish food in the heart of Birmingham!
Very nice food good atmosphere and service, only dropped a mark for the smelly damp basement toilets otherwise perfect. We had tapas dishes to share and cocktails perfect pre theatre dining!
Fantastic food and lovely staff!! Great value for money (even let you take food home you haven't finished)! Will be going back very soon ❤️❤️
Lovely variety of food and excellent service. The staff were very attentative and looked after our party for the evening. We would certainly come back again. Thank you
Service was excellent. We decided on three tapas each. The individual plates were all lovely. Chorizo and meatball dishes have to be the outstanding ones. Def will be back again.
Lovely time at Amantia last night. Place was very quiet when we arrived (5pm) but began filling up by the time we left. Service quick and friendly and the food was very tasty. Perfect way to forget the horrible weather that was going on outside!
Excellent food, tapas were great and the next time I visit, I'll order a lot more, mains were very good as was desert and an aperitif. I can't comment on the wine but will try that in the future.
The food was very nice, the staff were very friendly and i will recomend it to any body that would like to experience an authentic spanish meal
Went on a very busy Saturday night. Service was slow at first, had to wait some time before we found someone to order drinks from. The table we were on was a little too close to other diners and we had difficulty fitting in. But that said, the food was lovely and the staff very polite.
Food was ok. Expensive for what it was. Service was attentive. Nice atmosphere. Would not necessarily hurry back. Decor nice. Busy early Saturday afternoon. Just ok.
This is a superb place to visit. The best tapas restaurant in birmingham by far. The service is excellent and the food is extremely tasty
nice place! food prices are not worthy! good sangria homemade
good food and location, great range of Gin and Tonics. Service was good and selection of Tapas was varied. Would go back again and recommend
This stylish restaurant serves authentic tapas in a relaxed modern setting. The staff are Spanish too attentive and charming. This was my second visit this time for lunch. The special offer is excellent value for money and u can't wait to persuade more friends to accompany me for another visit.
lovely food, lovely staff, lovely restaurant. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, and will certainly go back. I saw a lot on the menu I would really like to try, but we ate ourselves to a standstill.
Fantastic food and a lovely night, went on a Saturday night and was very busy, felt that there wasn't quite enough staff as they weren't very attentive.
Excellent food with brilliant service made for wonderful boozy lunch. We had the tapas, the menu has a wide range of dishes and fairly price. Strongly recommend.
Fab food, staff and ambiance. I have been before and I will go again. Decor is nice too. Have vouchers too on Living Social. These are good deals.
Very nice food.the service is very good.very reasonably priced food.ill be back with the boss(wife)very soon! I think i will go for the paella next time
Service was a little slow when we was seated, however this all changed after taking our order and more than made up for it. We found the food to be really good, and would recommend this place to everyone.
It was very good food and very tasty. The service was friendly and knowledgeable. The place has a fantastic atmosphere! I will definitely go back!
Food not up to usual quality, mentioned to waiter but no recorse offered. Oh well , plenty other places to eat in Birmingham.wine was good !
Really enjoyed our evening at Amantia. We shared a carafe of sangria and some really great tapas. Staff were helpful. We would definitely go back.
Had a selection of tapas plates to start and two paellas as mains and dessert - all very nice. Service was great despite it being a busy Saturday evening. Would definitely recommend.
Smart, modern restaurant. Friendly greeting from charming lady. But - food - disappointing, my main course was cold though my dining companion's was satisfactorily warm. Otherwise food nicely presented and some tasty dishes.
we had a lovely meal at Amantia! We were a large group of international guests- the staff were so kind and helpful, especially the lead waitress who kindly saw to all our needs so well. The food was delicious and fun for sharing! Recommended!

Very pleasant waiters, good and very fast service. The food did not disappoint, lots of choice (hard to pick!) and everything we decided on was delicious. Most definitely recommend! Also thought the meal was very affordable for what we received.
