I was part of a group of three people on our first visit to the restaurant. The restaurant was selected to compliment a Spanish themed evening culminating in "Rodrigo`s concerto" at the Birmingham Symphony Hall The Tapas served was excellent. The service provided was prompt, courteous and advisory. The courses were perfectly timed with the removal of used plates and the introduction of further hot dishes. The tables had sufficient distance from each other not to be intrusive and the restaurant decor was modern with light Spanish music playing in the background. It had a good ambiance and I would definitely recommend Amantia for customers who want a flavour of Spain.
Outstanding food, great service and a relaxing unrushed atmosphere. The staff were really helpful and friendly, the blend of flavours and taste amazing with quick but not rushed food
Great tapas on a very busy Saturday evening. The only slight disappontment was the paella we ordered..came out dry and a little tasteless but it didn't put us off. We've been before and we'd go again!
The restaurant was cosy and clean was served straight away very friendly waiter he gave us some suggestions on the menu nice touch at the end of the meal we had a complimentary liquor which was lovely would go back again
Great atmosphere. Good food. But not cheap. Go to the flamenco show which is really good, then gave a meal. Or eat early. Your choice.
The restaurant ambience was very good. The four of us enjoyed the excellent food The waiter service could have been better Overall a great evening Will definitely visit again
Lovely food nice atmosphere and reasonable prices. Had 16 tapas plus bread between 6 which was plenty with wine and cocktails around £35 per person
We visited this venue for a second time It is a very well designed venue The manager is excellent monitoring all proceedings The food is not cheap but it is reasonable and of good quality In town centres you have charge commercial prices to survive Very handed to The Wellington real ale pub too You do need to book as it can get very busy We will be going back there again
Great choice of food, friendly staff who know the menu. Well priced and ideal location Plenty of vegetarian options, they have a good range of paella variations too
No complaints. Delicious food, polite and helpful staff - they stopped us from ordering too much when we reeled off a list of the tapas that we wanted! Everything brought out in a good order so that the table wasn't just full of food! Drinks not stingy either. Very much recommended.
Food is of a high standard accompanied by great service. Found the staff helpful and friendly workout being intrusive. The restaurant also had a good atmosphere
Great food and even better to be able to use Tastecard in the week! Great variety of tapas, drinks and also main dishes - we will be back!
Lovely warm welcome and speedy service, was given a voucher as a birthday present. Had a lovely meal with good service, will definately visit again.
Very enjoyable Spannish cuisine . Cod and Prawn Scewers were delicious. staff were friendly and polite. Restaurant clean and pleasant. we shall definitly return in the future.
The service was very quick, the staff were incredibly friendly, the food was great, and the location is great for the city centre. Very enjoyable.
lovely place to eat with great staff and food was pretty good too. Atmosphere was nice an calm with lovely company its a great evening out.
Excellent will definitely go there again seafood paella was fabulous nice atmosphere and friendly staff we didn't feel at all rushed was also very good value
Great selection of authentic tapas and excellent friendly, helpful service. This is definitely a place to visit but if it's a Saturday, be sure to book in advance.
The food was excellent and the service was prompt, professional and friendly. The unfortunate problem with the ladiesg. bathroom was dealt with immediately and efficiently. The flamenco show was simply amazing.I will return!!!
I went to Amantia with my brother here for dinner we received Great Service and the food was Delicious. I will be coming again, we both will.
Been a few times now but the food tonight was the best we have had. It was delicious and the service was of a high standard. Would definitely visit again as there is so much more on the menu to try.
Great, friendly service, beautiful tapas. The steak in wine was a particular highlight. 3 beers, 2 bottles of wine and plenty of tapas for 3, £103. Will definitely be back.
The food was excellent, the atmosphere was good. All the staff were lovely and could not have been more helpful. Would definitely return and recommend.
Good food, courteous and discreet service - and excellent value for money. This was my first visit and I'd be happy to go back at any time. The friends I was with are also planning to take acquaintances of their own in the next few weeks because they enjoyed the experience so much. In short, if you've not tried Amamtia before, it's well worth it!
Very good food, service good. Shame no set lunch menu though! Good ambience and location. Would book again and recommend to others. Certainly value for money
Excellent service. The calamari was so fresh & cooked just perfect.. Abit disappointed with potatoes bravas Just roasties topped with a sauce.?? But would definately return
Overpriced for the food and drinks served. I don't mind to splash on good food and drinks but it is not worth it. Sangria for £17 a small jar is as plain as fruit juice! Tapas is so and so. Service is good though but I won't be going back again.
A very friendly Spanish restaurant with predominantly Spanish staff, which is not at all like the chain tapas places. The decor is chic, the atmosphere convivial and relaxed and the food freshly prepared and tasty. The tapas menu contains plenty of things rarely seen elsewhere and there is a good variety of paella, though we didn't get chance to try it. Thoroughly recommended.
Great restaurant. Brilliant food. Really good staff, very happy and helpful :) I would go back anytime. There is loads to choose from and good prices.
The menu stated that in line with other restaurants where we have chosen tapas the dishes would not arrive all at once to allow for it to be hot and fresh. Unfortunately this was not the case , nor did it happen to other diners, so consequently by the time we had eaten half the remainder were very cool.felt it was overpriced and the octopus at 9£ was a very unimaginative dish at and overpriced. A real shame as we were really looking forward to it!
Great spanish family run restaurant. The tapas are excellent along with the paella. Great atmosphere, good quality and the price is on par with most restaurants in Brum.
Beautiful food, surroundings and staff...we've actually booked again for next week and looking forward it to already. Staff could not do enough for us...highly recommended
Good food, combined with efficient, attentive and considerate service, and friendly staff make this a restaurant that I will be returning to in the future.
This was our 2nd visit and we tried the tapas this time as we had the paella last time, and I must say that all the food we have had there has been delicious and really tasty. The service is very friendly and there is a nice atmosphere.
Poor valentine's evening set menu, poorly explained and poor value for money (3 main tapas between the 2 of us...). Decor and atmosphere nothing to write home about either. Service was quick and attentive.
Exellent food, service and atmosphere! Second time eating there and was just as good the first time. Will be visiting again soon! Very halpy customer.
Great tapas and sangria and no doubt we will be back again in the not too distant future. Staff are great and real value for money. 😀
Warm welcome and a comfortable meal table. We had lots of tapas and every dish was tasty with the chorizo especially good. Great service too.
Good welcome at the door. Great food, the paella was delicious and came with friendly service. As new customers we're impressed and will definitely be back!
Lovely restaurant with excellent staff and food. We had tapas and all the dishes were delicious. We finished with a chocolate desert - one of the best ever. Well done Amantia, we will be back
