Fabulous tapas, gorgeous puddings and friendly service. Independently owned and it shows in the high quality service and food. We will definitely visit again next time we are in Birmingham.

Excellent tapas . Wasn't asked on the main course if all was to our liking . Substituted muscles for prawns but wasn't told until main was served. Food was delicious inspite of this faux pas.

I was disappointed that the lemon sole was unavailable. The mushrooms in garlic more than made up for it. The rest of the group were more than happy with their choices.

Great food, service, atmosphere. We will return for sure. The menu is really good, lots of choice - surprised to be honest that Spanish Tapas was as authentic in Birmingham as Spain!

Amazing food, great service, Alhambra beer!! Went at lunchtime and it was fairly quiet but I can imagine there's a fabulous atmosphere in the evening. Also great value for money.

Restaurant was completely empty when we came, food was served almost instantly which seemed strange. Tapas was average, the paella was a disappointment, completely burnt at bottom and chewy meat.

Brilliant food, all cooked to perfection and with really quick service. We went on a Saturday night and the atmosphere was great too. Finally, the sangria is a must.

Lovely food. Service generally good but our waiter forgot to tell me my side order was not available. Atmosphere was ok but the décor is a bit sterile and our table was stuck at the back of the restuarant. Really enjoyed the Flamenco.

Delicious tapas in a beautifully decorated, modern restaurant. This place feels really authentic, the staff are friendly and helpful and the food is delicious, if you go at lunch the lunchtime menu of 2 tapas and a drink for £9.99 is a great deal. We will be going back soon!

This restaurant was amazing!! from the service to the flamenco dancing to the food. All was brilliant. Considering we were a little late they still delivered exceptional customer service from beginning to end. Would recommend to anybody and would also go again.

Our waiter mixed up our food and drink orders. We were served fish tapas rather than the vegetarian tapas we ordered. Happy with the managers response.

Very central location and the food was good. Service was initally great, but as it got busier, they struggled a littel more - i think they were a little short staffed but it did not spoil our enjoyment. The only comment I would make is about the toilets, where the decor was lovely but they had obviously not been checked through the night.

Fantastic restaurant. It was great to sample different tapas and the jarra de sangria was perfect. The service was excellent and we were made to feel very welcome. We went to the Tablao, which was incredible. The two flamenco dancers were amazing. Going back at the end of this month for lunch. Hasta luego y gracias.

Lovely set up. Love the live music but they finished quite early it would have been nice had they played until midnight. Nice pleasant staff. Courses came out in a weird order so we had 4 dishes then 2 came much later after having to ask for them and that meant we had the odd combo of a dish of mussels and meat balls. Apart from that it was excellent food and good value.

Lovely restaurant, we turned up a couple of hours early just for some drinks as everywhere else in the surrounding areas were extremely busy, Amantia were happy to oblige. We had a few tapas dishes between 4 people and they were lovely, especially the king prawns and calamari. Would definately visit again when in Birmingham.

Went on a busy Saturday night. Even with booking slight delay getting to table but hosts were very apologetic about this. Food was very good - tapas plates are a good size for sharing. My vegetarian friend was slightly disappointed with the aubergine fried with honey as this could have been a bit crisper. She was also disappointed that the only vegetarian main was a Greek salad (although she did point out it was one of the best Greek salads she'd had in a long time). Our mains of sea bass with salsa verde and lemon sole were breathtakingly good. Further evidence that good ingredients cooked simply are sometimes the best. Sadly we were too full for pudding but the churros are supposed to be spectacular. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable as well.

At Amantia the welcome is warm and inviting ,the staff are knowledgeable about the food and wine and able to make suggestions with regards to /tapas and wine selections. The Food is flavorsome , good quality with an interesting variety that suits different pallets. The service remains at a consistent high throughout our meal.
