Visited Andys for my birthday and loved it :) Delicious food - including the best taramasalata ever! - plus excellent service. This was a really great night out.
It's a small place which is always packed, but the staff are friendly and the servings are absolutely massive for a reasonable price too. It is one of my favourite restaurants in London - and one of the best compliments I can give it is that we are constantly drawn back to Andy's despite the fact that it is competing with a abundance of other quality restaurants in the city.
Ottima cucina e pesce ,personale gentilissimo è molto disponibile . Tutto molto buono
The food was very good and the service was also equally good the menu items that were delicious and it is a very clean place to eat. I would recommend eating here if you are in the neighborhood. I thought the owner took personal care in every person eating there and the staff was very personable. Make reservations online though, they were busy.
Enjoyed the food as usual. However our booking was not there when I rang during the day and we had never been told the restaurant had moved. The new restaurant is much smaller and we were close to the door and just pleased that the weather was not too bad as the door was opened quite regularly with takeaway collections and customers going in and out for a cigarette. A table for two is very cramped and we had to give up our bread and olives when the main course arrived to try and make room. In the past we have made the effort to cross London to go there but are not so sure in the future. The character has gone.
Quaint restaurant with very attentive staff. I had picked this place due to the reviews about authenticity. I ordered the Spanakopita and it came out as deep fried parcels which was a little bit disappointing - I however did eat it and questioned whether it usually is prepared this way and was told that it is oven baked first and then deep fried for extra flavour...My partner had a very generous serving of Kleftiko which he really enjoyed. When the bill arrived the Spanakopita had been taken off which was unnecessary but nevertheless a nice gesture.
Very good and fresh authentic greek food . Very kind service . The red wine , Nemea Grand reserve is really superb ! If you're in London and you want to eat Greek food , this is the place to be !!
The food was excellent and traditionally Greek as well as being very large portions. The prices, especially for London, were very competitive. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Overall a very pleasant evening!
Friendly staff, tasty dishes, big portion, and reasonable price as usual. I have tried Afelia this time and this is highly recommended. If you haven't been to this restaurant, what are you waiting for?
I've been to this hidden gem in Camden to enjoy Friday evening with my partner. I especially liked their appetizer - hummus and something, I don't remember. Main course was bit too much oregano, but it was very nice overall.
