My 1st visit on Friday evening. A really busy place & now I know why.. A fabulous little takeaway serving "restaurant quality' food with generous servings. A jewel in ormskirk's Crown. I will not go anywhere else.

I didn't like out table right next to the door. But was pleased when our waiter moved us a bit later.

Food was good as was the service. Always a favourite.

An excellent Indian restaurant to which we regularly return. An excellent atmosphere and plenty of attentive waiter. The food is subtle and splendid for my palate, but I can't speak for the heavy duty dishes as I'm not a great one for excessive heat!

What an experience - great location, great service and absolutely fabulous food. I would encourage everyone to visit this restaurant if in the area. Prices very reasonable too!

Very good meal with great service. My guest was very impressed with the lunch. This was my third visit all of which have been excellent.

Good place to dine in the city clean & well decorated food is well presented and of good portion staff are welcoming but the only draw side I got the feeling that we been bit rushed to make decisions about if we have finished and dishes could be collected; we turned back the waiters twice otherwise we enjoyed the experience and would recommend it

The food as always was excellent, but the service was terrible. We arrived at 1pm and at 2pm we were still asking for our starters. We had to ask for drinks and for our main course.

Good service and good food! Friendly staff who made our party of eleven very welcome, everyone got their food at the same time and enjoyed it very much!

Food was up to usual pretty good standard, but did feel somewhat rushed (12.30 sitting) ordering by waiters and the made a mistake with regards the bill by adding 2 more large and 1 small beer than ordered. Even upon explaining this I was questioned about the same from another waiter even though it seemed very evident that the beers in question were on the table next door. I have had better experiences here.

Had come by the restaurant on a Monday during lunch and there was not a single empty table, so I instead booked to come back for dinner that same evening and found the restaurant far less busy. All the items ordered were delicious -- baked paneer cubes, tarka daal, special biryani rice, naan, papadum, raita. My only complaint was the lack of traditional Indian desserts like gulab jamun, kheer, barfi or halwa, but I suspect that has more to do with the lack of popularity with clientele in the area. Staff was very attentive and the price very reasonable. Will return again.
