Bar Beach Grill - Lewisham

I have been here before, food wasn’t up to standard. What they have on their online menu is not what you can order when you get to the restaurant. Service was ok, friendly staff. The food needs to be cooked more thoroughly and the drinks that you pay £13 for should taste like alcohol.

Celebrating my sis birthday, we were a party of 8 great service, welcome and vibes from our server, Kyra Flavoursome and delicious food..the cocktail was AMAZING!! Definitely would come back again...

They try tell me to come back at 6pm even though my booking was at 4pm. With a lil moan the managed to seat me and my friend. But had us standing and waiting for ages. Other from that the food and drinks were amazing!!

It was home away from home, all the whole meal and drink was Marvelous, I’ll come back more

Wait times were absurd, only 2 staff working, the guy seemed very distracted. Music was so loud.

Waiters didn’t approach our table until 15 min after we were sat, then we order a bottle of Prosecco to then be told 10 min after that they were running out of Prosecco. We then ordered a bottle of wine and it took another 10 min, we ended up asking for the bill and leaving. Waiters need some training on how to approach customers as well as in service! I’ve been there many time but this time was very disappointing.

I didn’t have a good experience, our table of 10 was double booked so we were then sent to the new cross location which hadn’t been open long. Waiters were very friendly however the restaurant in my opinion is not ready to be open or handle larger bookings. Inconsistency within food, starters of the same type did not come at the same time half the table got starters then 1hr later the rest of the starters came. Mains weren’t timed well, some peoples mains were burnt to a crisp, some were really salty & over sauced. No one came back to ask us if we wanted drinks we were incredibly thirsty after the food. Some of our food came when we got the bill, it just wasn’t an enjoyable evening & for a £350+ bill this isnt the kind of service you expect. The kitchen team needs serious training on time management & the menu needs development.

Second time here at Bar Beach Grill. Food incredible, staff lovely and friendly. Shout out to Emmanuel for taking care of me and my folks, as well as the young woman (with the red highlights). One thing to point out is probably at busiest hours, start with drinks and sides. Food came all at once which I don’t have an issue with however, parts of our mains were missing. We just like to eat everything when it’s there (main course mainly, lool we just that greedy). Overall, top tier cuisine!

Bloody amazing grub! I had the lamb cutlets and they were delicious. Staff were nice and friendly too. Clean and chilled atmosphere. Good beats too!

Food is excellent. The jollof in particular is 10/10. They don’t scrimp on the alcohol in those cocktails either! Wish the bar closed the same time as the kitchen but other than that can’t fault the place.
