We felt a little concerned that there was only one other table taken at lunch on Mothers day but when we left we felt sorry for those who missed on such a lovely place to eat. Excellent service and wonderful food. Will definitely be returning.

Starters were nice and flavousome prawns and ribs but mains were tasteless. Supposed to be ginger and garlic but tasted of nothing, very large quantities.

Really delicious food. Really nice interior. Very friendly staff. Food came quickly. I really enjoyed it as I don’t normally eat Chinese out but I really loved it. I’m not sure if the all you can eat is worth it because everything is so filling I couldn’t order that much!! But other than that it was really really good. Will be going back.

Average food and restaurant smelt funny, toilets were disgusting. We only had 2 courses, asked as we aren’t having the full all you can eat list (didn’t have mains) could we pay less but they wasn’t interested. Paid and left. All 8 in our party said we’d not return.

As a party of four we had a very pleasant Saturday evening. Easy location & parking. Proprietor & staff were very attentive. Very good selection of food & drinks. All-you-can-eat menu was an excellent choice but don't over do the starters as there's plenty of food in the remaining courses. We will be returning soon.

Basic but staff great. Would recommend . The staff knew the menus and helped you through their choices..we opted for the eat as much as you want which had a good choice.

Not been for a while, usually go quite often. Just as good as it normally is. Food was fantastic as is always is, staff were extremely friendly as they always are. Why would we go to another Chinese restaurant when The Been is just so perfect?

Great friendly service & lovely food as always. There were several big parties in but the staff made a point of taking our orders asap to ensure we got our food promptly and were very apologetic for the brief delay. Will be back again soon!

Came here as a friends leaving meal on a weekday evening. Excellent service, excellent food, excellent atmosphere. I’ve been here before with a couple of friends and have never been dissapointed, my friends who haven’t been here before will definately be visiting again!

The food was brilliant for the price. Service was excellent never did we not have a drink on the table. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Went to Been on new years day and it was amazing but was very disappointed at our last visit. Food was nowhere near as good and service very slow.

Service OK. Food not so good. Overpriced for the quality of food especially as regards the mains off the buffet menu. Other Chinese restaurants in the area much better.

Welcoming and friendly. Very good service - attentive but not too obtrusive. Especially good to one of our group who arrived early. “Eat all you want” was good value. Wraps and mains were delicious. I was not so keen on the starters but that is a personal preference for not eating battered food. Our group chose the starters so there may be others I could choose another time to suit me. I would recommend Bean and would book again.

Just a perfect restaurant. Our arrival, as always, was greeted with a personal greeting from the friendly stafff, food was excellent, service quick and it’s reasonably priced, which is why we visited frequently and recommend it to friends.

My family thoroughly enjoyed the fantastic food. The staff were kind and helpful and there was a good atmosphere. We had a great evening and my kids have already asked when we can go back!

We have eaten at this restaurant several times in years gone by and enjoyed the experience. On this occasion however, the only good thing I can say is that the Prawn Crackers before the main meal were nice! The food was bland, bland, bland. We ordered a chicken dish, a beef dish and a pork dish, they all tasted the same which was of nothing. Service was pleasant but a little muddled and in my opinion not at all professional. We will not be returning anytime soon and regret not going to our usual Oriental restaurant in Bath Place. I can only assume that it has had a change of ownership since we were last there.

The food was very tasty, and while all the usual favourites were there, they were prepared in a more upmarket fashion that takeaway. The dark-wood and red decor was again traditional but not tacky. The waiter service was efficient and polite. The prices were highly pleasing. Will definitely go there again!
