Bella Vita - Southampton

Fantastic food and reasonably priced, only quarm I had was that they added a 10% service charge on top of the bill which I wouldn’t expect in the UK. Music would have been nice too but all in all a string 9/10

Food was lovely but the atmosphere was a bit lacking and the service, whilst friendly, was quite slow and transactional. Lighting in places was a bit harsh and if you were sitting in the wrong spot you could have a spotlight shining right on you which isn’t that relaxing.

Great fresh food, which was reasonably priced and with plenty of choice. Service was friendly, professional and not rushed in a nice restaurant and would return again.

My 2nd visit to Bella vita and the food was delicious hot and tasty. Good service. Lovely decor and friendly staff. Although not very busy a very nice and comfortable atmosphere.

Lovely food but unfortunately the restaurant was sooo cold. We did ask to move by a radiator but there was no heating to sit next to. (This wasn't due to restaurant being full as there were only 2 other tables occupied). Unfortunately this did spoil the evening as it was for a special occasion.

Excellent, friendly service, very good food and very easy parking. A good range of vegetarian choices also very welcome. Quiet, roomy and enjoyable ambience. Really, I have no complaints.

A lovely restaurant where the food is divine. I asked to alter my starter slightly, the waitress took her time to explain the menu, nothing was too much trouble. I had Bruschetta, the Lamb Shank and The Banoffee Pie, it was all gorgeous! I’ve been there a number of times and will certainly be going back.

Excellent food and service, would highly recommend, went there for our Christmas party and enjoyed the food, so we went back to sample the Italian menu

Lovely pizzas really tasty great flavours. Nice relaxed atmosphere with friendly service. Value for money excellent will definitely pay another visit in the near future.

Whilst the food was excellent there was no'italian atmosphere'. It was merely a pub selling Italian food - could have had lower lighting candles and Italian music to make it a little more authentic

Our first visit to Bella vita was not a disappointment. The food and the staff, were so nice so much so we have booked another visit. Thank you, see you soon

A very pleasant experience with good food and friendly staff. The menu is very varied and it is difficult to choose from so many mouth-watering possibilities. This restaurant is a great asset for North Baddesley and the surrounding area.

Great food of good quality, good service and good value for money. Think we have found an Italian we will return to again and again.

Food was really lovely and service was excellent. Christmas Day menu had some really nicely choices, would happily spend Christmas here again. We’ve always enjoyed the food here over many visits

A very pleasant and relaxed meal. The food was fantastic. Staff where attentive but also not intrusive. I would definately recommend it for any occasion.

The food and service was very good with reasonable prices. The only negative thing was that the atmosphere wasn't very good, the restaurant wasn't very full and it could have looked more festive, I only saw a few strips of tinsel hanging up. The room itself was lovely and with a few more decorations and a tree, the atmosphere for this time of year could have greatly improved. Otherwise, a lovely meal spent with a friend who I hadn't seen for a long time, so a very pleasant evening.

Very attentive and well cooked food. Such a pity about lack of atmosphere as it was the week before Christmas but didn’t feel very Christmassy.

As per usual really good Food! Just needs to get busier and it would be just perfect. More people need to go! Our favourite Italian.

Excellent Sunday Roast. Friendly staff. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to all of my friends. Who would have thought that an Italian Restaurant would serve such a wonderful British tradition.

I felt the waitress needed more training. A more personable, professional approach would have made for a better dining experience. Also the portions are abit on the small side, not the best value for cost of meal.

Rather soulless restaurant. Food was good but not great - lasagne was disappointing, very small and loose, swimming in tomato sauce, more of a thick soup really. Bread and oil starter was good. Prices were reasonable, except desserts - £5.95 for something obviously not homemade. We won’t be returning.

Had a super evening and the food was superb! Lobster ravioli was to die for. Friendly and efficient staff. Would recommend and definitely return. Thank you

There is aways a lovely atmosphere here at The Ox. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff who always make you feel welcome. The food was really tasty. Would recommend a visit we have never been disappointed.

On the Monday lunch time there was only the three of us. Service was good, my partners salmon tagliatelle was very salty, starter of mixed meats was good, my pizza also good.

The food was generally ok however the cheese garlic bread was over cooked and therefore hard and crispy. Service wasn’t great had to ask staff to tak a drinks order then our food order and we had to get the pudding menu ourselves to look at. Thought it was cheeky that they th n automatically added a £12 service charge. Hop fully this is t their. Kemal service as the food was tasty and the atmosphere good

Lovely atmosphere with a lively vibe. Food well presented good quick service. Only criticism our sirloin steaks a little on the tough side. Have found before that meat could be better. Would suggest a change of butcher!

What a fantastic evening the food,service and atmosphere was top notch will happily recommend and definitely be coming back here if you want to eat some of the best food around visit this great restaurant

The food was good and the service attentive, relaxed and friendly. Highly recommended. The missing link is the design of the room, it doesn’t create the right ambiance to punch harder. Good value for money.

Fabulous meal and service. 4 of us sent to celebrate a friends birthday and we all thoroughly enjoyed everything. nice atmosphere. this is the second time we have been, the previous time was with family for a birthday and again nothing could be faulted.

Good quality food and drink at very reasonable prices. Menu was very comprhensive. Pleasant area to sit prior to going into restaurant. Pleny of parking spaces. Very likely to return.

Went for dinner after recommendation by friends. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent, the service good. How just one waiter managed to serve all the tables was hard to believe, but he did.

the food was very good and we all enjoyed the meal.It would be good to have a desert for diabetics ie fresh fruit or cheese and biscuits

The restaurant itself is very nice and we all really enjoyed our food (4 adults & 2 children), it was very reasonably priced and I only knocked off one point as the staff were not very friendly, although they were not in any way rude or unprofessional. There was no separate menu for the children, instead the pasta dishes and pizzas came in child portions/prices, although they were huge. We would definitely go again if visiting the area.

We've been to this restaurant many times, and it's always really good. Last night was the busiest I've seen it, including a large party, but we still didn't have to wait very long for our food. The food, as always, was really lovely. We'll definitely be returning.

Bella Vita is becoming a fond local favourite. Really tasty food for very good value. Wife and I enjoyed thoroughly delicious pasta mains and wonderful puddings - orange sorbet and Bailey's cheesecake. Really pleasant service
