Terrible didn’t get our food as women tried to order then she tried to make us pay for our drinks when we had specificly said we had the theatre so then didn’t have time to have a meal so ruined our whole evening

Very friendly helpful staff. Good size portions of nice food. Good varied menu. The prices for food and drinks are very good value. The restaurant is ideally located for pre theatre meals for Festival Theatre.

food was good and the watiress serving us had great chat. Probably one of the better places for good price and good quality in Edinburgh city centre.

Great food, good service as always although we were sitting next to the back window and there was a terrible draft coming in. Had to wrap my coat around my shoulders Brrrr!

Biblos is a cool place to enjoy food drinks and music. Staff is welcoming, friendly, they give you advice on what specialty is there, whether a gourmet burger, an enjoyable starter or a craft beer. One of my favourites and it's just a few steps from royal mile. Highly recommend

Good choice. Meals delicious, especially the salmon. Daughter had the nachos with chilli. Portion was huge. Consider sharing! Friendly helpful staff too. Only downside, it's quite a trek to the toilet. Will definitely go back again.

Enjoyed a really lovely night out at biblos. We had our Christmas night out, full three course dinner which was very good and the staff were so friendly. Would definitely recommend

Everything great on arrival, staff were pleasant and took our food and drink order, the food came in good time and was lovely but after that once the plates were taken away we had no one else come back to us it took 2 attempts asking different servers for drinks and then we had to track someone down to even get our bill ! There were some large parties in and it felt as though the staff concentrated on them rather than all diners which is a shame.

very positive experience , staff attentive to needs , pleasant mannerly , food fine , I had battered fish bit greasy for me ( personal taste ) partner had burger which was enjoyed , I had vanilla ice cream lovely ice cream felt the presentation could have been better ,e.g a piece of mint on top ( just for presentation would have made all the difference .

Good service, good food, excellent value. Only negative was coffe was cold, however this was dealt with quickly and fresh Ines brought out. So overall very happy

This was my second visit here and certainly won't be my last. Booked a table for 11 people, received fast friendly service and great food. Staff were more than happy to accommodate our unusual orders. Very reasonably priced food with 25% off. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent service and delicious food. Table was reserved and ready waiting for us. 25% discount off food and good prices on wine made this a very inexpensive night out. Both servers were friendly and attentive - can't wait to return.

Food was lovely. Appreciated the 25% off which was unexpected. Only giving 5 stars as thought by booking we would get a table upstairs instead of in the bar.

Had a fantastic meal with 11 others. Large selection of dishes to choose from. Everyone really enjoyed their meal and prices were very reasonable too. Will definitely be back.

Very nice meal, great service. staff very friendly and attentive. We were having a quick meal before the theatre and biblos was nearby. I gave a 5 for overall experience rather than a 6 which I almost did, as the children's menu is slightly limited with no dessert option for younger diners and the coffee is a bit on the weak side, Overall it was a very pleasant experience and I would return next time I am in the area.

Been here before and find it a handy pre-theatre eating venue. Great service from helpful and polite staff. Good value for money - chilli beef nachos very tasty. Would recommend highly.

Our orders were messed up. And my food was cold when it arrived. My friends received their starters very late. But staff was nice. Thanks

Great service, food was amazing! Went here for dinner on Valentines Day before going to the Festival Theatre and would definitely recommend coming here, especially since its so close to the theatre

Efficient friendly service without feeling rushed. Food quality good and price as you would expect in a city centre. Big benefit of 25% food discount. I guess that was to encourage diners on january

i had the battered haggis balls and mash starter it was truly divine ! i will be asking for a double portion as a main course next visit . (why dont you already do that ? )

Very much enjoyed the experience. Because our table was very close to the door and the weather was very cold it was a little drafty. Will probably ask for an inside or upstairs table next time. Regardless of this minor inconvenience will definitely return.
