Everything was very good, we were well placed at the top of the restaurant, albeit it a little tight with the bookcase. staff were attentive and the food very good. we would come again.

Great service, lovely atmosphere and staff were very welcoming and were on top of service all evening. 10 / 10 experience. Would reccomend to friends & family.

The restaurant was warm and inviting.....food was excellent and good value....staff were very friendly and Phil the owner is a great host and would make sure you were well looked after.

Lovely food, atmostphere and great service! Menu for new year was a little limited but was to be expected and was a fair price for what you got.

Great food and cocktails as always. Sometimes food sells out but this is because food is always fresh! One of my fav restaurants in town!

Love the restaurant, service was just not up to scratch, food was rushed. We will come back but please 'pay attention, to your clients and there needs.

Wonderful staff and great food! My first time last evening and will definitely go back. Scotch egg to start really tasty! ribeye for main and was cooked to perfection.

The staff were warm and friendly. The food was tasty and arrived at the table nice and hot. Sadly the lack of attention and slow service let restaurant down. Ordered drinks were not received at the table and had to be chased more than once, dishes delivered to the table had items missing (these were brought quickly when reminded). The specials menu was not offered (only discovered this option when a neighbouring table ordered from it). However, none of the above would prevent me from dining there again.

Food was fantastic, service on the day was good but the overall experience of trying to book a table and their willingness to Help make a 40th birthday special was of the minimum.

Once again, brilliant service and amazing food. The pea and fennel soup starter was to die for! I had the burger which was delicious, the fries were really lovely and the home-made coleslaw was exceptional. I couldn’t eat it all as the portions were so generous. I highly recommend this restaurant I’ve never had a bad experience here. Wonderful.

Four of us dined, had mains and desert but didn't try the starters. Bread board was lovely with a good selection of fresh bread and delicious dips. To follow I had the creamy seafood linguine, others tried Catalan fish stew, fish pie, and cod and chips. The food was excellent and the atmosphere pleasant. Staff were friendly and helpful, bringing my companion two samples of wine so that she could decide which she preferred. We had a lovely evening.

Food was lovely as well as the cocktails. Will definitely be back x

The restaurant is very clean, well layed out so no overcrowding. The staff very pleasant and welcoming and the food was excellent. Situated in a prime spot close to the harbour it is ideal for the visitor to explore the old town and all the redevelopments.

Wonderful as always! Looked after my dietary needs really well. Service was excellent also. All six of us loved the food and look forward to the next time!

Lunch on a Thursday. Restaurant not busy. Nicely decorated and furnished. Main menu and lunch set menu, which offered plenty of choice. Food was very nice, service was good, and very reasonably priced. Will go back soon.

Amazing service, fantastic food, enjoyed every minute! The atmosphere was lovely and the waitresses were very attentive, making sure if we needed more drinks and that the food was all ok. All of us had fantastic meals and enjoyed the experience.

A warm welcome and excellent service and a beautifully presented and tasty meal. We actually had the lunch menu which was great value. Will definitely return

The service was exceptional and the cocktails are great. I gave 5 because the food was a bit bland. During my other visit sometime ago I have had mussels and these were not fresh at all, so I haven't ordered them again. This time I had a fish pie and it was delicious.

Having visited the restaurant several times we very much like its atmosphere . The staff were as always very attentive, with the food and its presentation being of a high class.

Nice position, attractive restaurant very friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Food tasty and presented enticingly. Found the rectangular table for 4 a bit cramped (if you're slim it will not be a problem) so we moved to a round one, staff were very amenable about this. Good evening out in nice ambience.

Wow yes a big Wow the food is fantastic the staff are great if you havent been yet make a booking you will not be dissapointed. jon boy will be taking freinds next time

Great food, great service. Owner was present, fantastic chap, even served us drinks at one point. Good atmosphere, and delicious cocktails. Moretti on tap was a winner for us.

Excellent first visit .Food was very good and well presented. Very friendly service and we will definitely return. One small point is that as a non fish eater(allergies) I felt my options were a little limited

Food nice. Hurried service. Wine plonked on table not even opened. Choice in menu far less than before. Very disinterested staff. Menu a piece of laminate . We will not be using as our regular anniversary meal. Such a shame after 6 in a row. Very disappointed , was really looking forward to it. We did not even stay for desert .

The food has been a lot better in the past and feels like they are now longer worried that much about their menu as good choice but no where near amazing as it use to be

Visited on a Friday evening for 1st time. Fairly busy but speed of service of reasonable. Food quality average. Bottle of wine just plonked on table unopened and had to pour ourselves. Also not at correct temperature. Sadly the establishment lacked the basic touches that one should expect from a restaurant of this type. Staff were generally pleasant with one being excellent, more customer relations training would be beneficial

Helpful staff- relaxed surroundings- good food- although could do with a better choice of vegetables and chicken dishes . Would recommend for casual dining. Comfy seats.

Food is well cooked. Maybe a little more expensive than your average restaurant. Service was slow. Not enough staff for the number of customers and wait times were long between courses and for the bill.

Delicious food cooked to perfection, I had the Seared seabass in lobster broth.. my hubby had ribeye steak.. great choice, brill service and yummy cocktails.. will be back :)

Quite a long wait as the restaurant was busy but it was worth it! Seafood is clearly the speciality here and the seabass was absolutely top notch. Service was good. Great value as portions were generous.

Great food, good selection of wine friendly helpful staff, great cocktails. Highly recommend we will be going back again and taking some friends one of Folkestones best restaurants.

The restaurant layout has a spacious feel to it and the menu is good. There are quite a few fish and seafood options and the steaks are really well prepared. There is a casual seating area where you can enjoy some interesting sounding cocktails along with tasty lighter meal options.

Goid service, great location and even better food. Went here for lunch and selected from the set lunch menu which is both comprehensive and varied.

Great service nice food but was served spaghetti for my seafood linguine but still tasty Lovely mussels. Half cooked chicken very nice. Scotch eggs amazing 😉
