We had a really enjoyable evening on Saturday. Atmosphere was lovely, service slick and efficient but fun too and food was really tasty. Will be back.

Great food and friendly service. Portions large enough for two to share, which is what I would consider doing if I was ordering as takeaway.

First visit to Bombay Quay. Somewhat upmarket Indian. Food was fantastic - onion bhajis the size of a small birds nest! My main course was a mix of chicken tikka, lamb and king prawn in a sizzling dish - delicious. Staff were very active and friendly. We'll be going again soon.

We arrived for our booking at 7 p.m. and as soon as we had finished our meal (at approximately 8.45 p.m.) we were presented with the bill and asked to vacate the table. We were really quite shocked by this. From the four meals ordered we felt that the food was rather bland and not very hot at all. This is such a shame as this new restaurant is within walking distance of our home and prior to this first visit there we imagined been able to walk down there on a regular basis, but our first experience could possibly be our last!

Excellent food, staff were fantastic. Had a really good mix of mild and spicy options and all tasted really fresh. No complaints, would highly recommend

A little confused regarding billing and drinks delivery - it is popular at the moment as it has just opened so they can be forgiven whilst they settle into routine. Food it great - keep it up

We were a party of 5, celebrating a birthday. We all had a very enjoyable meal and thought the food was very good. Service and atmosphere were also good. We will definitely return.

Fantastic food and plenty of it. Large portions especially the rice and nan breads,next time we'll get one between the two of us. Very attentive waiters without feeling intimidated. Good food, nice atmosphere and attentive staff. Well worth another visit soon. We had popadoms and one starter between two of us of us, then a dish from the house specials and one from the chefs signature dishes, and a side of sag aloo. The bill came to £39

Great atmosphere food lovely. Waiters good fun. Restaurant accommodated for birthday surprise even played happy birthday and brought a sparkler. Reasonable prices and didnt have to wait too long for food even though very busy.

It was a Saturday evening and the restaurant was very busy with a lot of people 'milling around' the doorway. There didn't seem to be anyone checking reservations so we weren't originally clear who we should speak to about our table. After that, however, everything was good. We were a party of 8 and everyone had different meals and everybody enjoyed theirs. The service was good and waiters were friendly and obliging. It is our personal preference to go to restaurants that are a little quieter so we would go back but not on a Saturday night.

Great first visit....atmosphere really good & service was exceptional...food was very very good too. We didn't feel rushed & had a decent time between courses...manager took the time to come over & speak to us, not knowing it was our first visit, would highly recommend it, we will definitely be back

We had a superb evening at Bombay Quay, a lovely setting, and brilliant staff who couldn't do enough to help but also left us to enjoy our food. The food itself was extremely tasty! We'll definitely be going back and would recommend to all.

I would definatley recommend going to Bombay Query Northwich. The staff were brilliant with my Nanna who needs a walker to get around they made sure she could get to the table that they moved us to as the first one would not have been so easily accessible for her so. We will definitely be going back here again soon

Great food and great staff. This was only my 3rd visit and the lads there recognised me straight away and sat me st a nice table I'd sat at previously. They chatted with us for a while which was nice then continued to look after us throughout our stay. Can't fault and will return again

Great service, went there on one of the first weeks. Large selection on the menu at ok prices. View near the window is very nice and overall design is very nice as well.

Could not fault this restaurant at all. The waiters were very attentive and courteous and the atmosphere was lovely. The food was excellent, we tried a couple of dishes we had not had before and were not disappointed. All in all a great eating out experience.

The staff were fantastic, very friendly polite and helpful. The Chicken Korma was delicious. The vegetable dishes were spicey. We had a lovely river view.

Ordered a beer, waited for ages and then 2 came. Ordered a fish dish which was 4 chilli's. First one hardly had any fish in, more potato, so returned. Second one was extremely bland with no taste, so was returned again. Asked for the dish to be removed from the bill. Also restaurant seemed very cramp, will not be going back.

One word sums the whole Bombay Quay 'experience' up. Stunning! Without doubt the best Indian meal I've ever eaten. Beautiful surroundings. Attentive service (without being overbearing). Great value for money (£40 for 2 with a bottle of wine). Can't wait till our next visit, (if we're lucky enough to get a table!!)

Lovely setting..well lit, spacious and a nice atmosphere. The table we booked was perfect. Staff very attentive. Menu had an array of different meals to cater for all tastes, and was reasonably priced. Food was well presented and tasted delicious. The only negative and the reason I am not awarding them full marks was that I was overcharged on the bill. Although this was soon rectified I discovered I had been charged drinks from the previous customer sat at that table...! I would definitively return to The Bombay Quay to discover more on their menu.
