A major favourite among those looking to enjoy a meal out in town centre, Borrello is an Italian restaurant in Sale with an enviable location and a powerful handle on what it takes to treat diners to elegant European cuisine with a distinct Mediterranean emphasis. The restaurant is as central as can be, located on School Road, just up from the canal and bike path, opposite Sale Town Hall and The Square Shopping Centre, meaning a booking is very much advised whether you drop by for lunch, dinner, or simply to sample what some are calling the best spare ribs in the southern reaches of Manchester! Two- and three-course early bird menus (available Mon days to Thursdays 4pm to 7pm, until 6pm on Saturdays and between 2pm and 6pm on Sundays) are one way to get acquainted, otherwise dive into the refined a la carte menu.
Lovely atmosphere, lovely staff and amazing food. Scallops are always delicious. Been here a few times now and look forward to going back. A firm favourite.
Great restaurant, great food, great staff. Always an enjoyable evening here, I would usually give top marks, can’t fault the place, last night the restaurant was full and needed more staff, the staff working were rushed off their feet so service was slightly slower than usual but staff still tried to be as attentive as always. As always I highly recommend Borello and will be back soon.
friendly staff , enjoyable meal and surroundings. Plenty to choose from the menu and also have an early bird menu which is gd value for money.
