More about the restaurant: Boteco Do Brasil - Glasgow
Brazil is famous for a lot of things – bright colours, vibrant streets, rhythmic music, beautiful people, refreshing cocktails, a fistful of football world cups, dancing, exotic street food and legendary grilled meat. At Boteco Do Brasil you get all of this – well, except the world cups. Handily close to Argyle Street station on the eastern edge of Glasgow’s city centre, Boteco Do Brasil on Trongate is superb for group events, exotic dining or simply a great night out. Cocktails, live music, DJs, a dance floor and funky decor are all part of the fun, but the food is particularly special. You could visit four times and still be trying new things from the traditional tapas, mains, burger and dessert menus, but we recommend reaching for the Camarão ao alho e óleo (pan-fried tiger prawns with cherry tomatoes) followed by a traditional Brazilian Vaca Atolada (slow-cooked beef ribs with cassava) and a side of batatas apimentada (cajun fries), finished off with some decadent brigadeiro.
