A delicious Sunday lunch, very tasty white onion soup as stater and beautiful roast beef and excellent selection of vegetables. A very enjoyable meal retuning soon!
Amazing service amazing food ... best steak I have ever had . Will be back again and would recommend everyone to go and try it!
2 great steaks for £20. Can't go wrong. Lovely as well.
What a great place the Brasserie Hudson Quay is. Spectacular views of the Middlesbrough skyline as the sun went down. Food was good and service professional and friendly.
Food was absolutely delicious. The only downside was we asked for a cup of tea 3 times and ended up leaving without receiving the tea. The staff were run off their feet however due to football fans meeting in the bar on their way to the match.
Service and meal was excellent. Our group was a 12 person collection of current employees and retirees. Drinks prior to the meal were delivered quickly. The meal was good and all enjoyed it. Service throughout was good to excellent. There were no significant delays between courses. Overall a very good experience.
The food was delicious we had the Christmas lunch best sprouts ever !!!! However there was no Christmas atmosphere, tables weren't dressed no tree & not a cracker in sight !!
Food as usual was outstanding and staff friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The attention to detail with the food is always good and whilst not the cheapest place to eat is well worth the money.
My daughter has allergies and on the occasions when we have eaten here they have always provided her with enough choice without the fuss that is often associated with 'sorry we can't do that etc' Food was very flavoursome, service was great. This is obviously a popular choice as a restaurant for good reason the food and ambience is good and you even have Harry Potter books read to you when you go to the toilet.
Friendly staff the food was hot when served and tasted delicious. Good views of the river tees and seals popping their heads up while we were eating.
Great service and really lovely food cooked with heart. I wouldn't hesitate to go back and will be booking it again sometime soon for definite
Lovely atmosphere and excellent food. We eat here often and have never been disappointed. The quality of the food is always really good. Would definately recommend
We had a lovely meal in the Brasserie at a window table with a nice view. The food was excellent and the service first class.
Good atmosphere-good food-Great idea for car parking on match day. Poor starters on the 2 course match day meal!! It would be better to just offer main course and dessert!
Each visit that my family and I pay to this Brasserie, we have never been disappointed. the food is excellent and the service very good.
Amazing food, great ambiance, attentive service. Would definitely recommend. Enjoyed it so much we bought a gift voucher for step son and his wife for Christmas.
We were welcomed on time and shown quickly and efficiently to our seat, the staff where excellent and pleasant. It was a special steak night we were informed which is even better as I love a steak, Excellent food, service and prices were not bad
First time at the restaurant - we were really impressed. Went for a quiet romantic meal with my wife. Ample parking just outside and we left the car there and got a taxi home- this was no problem at all! We were welcomed on arrival and found the atmosphere to be both relaxed and attentive with friendly staff. To cap it all off we went there on a wednesday night and learned on arrival that there would be a 30% reduction to the bill including wine! A welcome treat- we will definitely be back!
Service excellent, food delicious, only thing preventing full marks was the long seating which was very hard (I was able to swap for an individual seat which was much better)
Excellent. Staff, food, service, faultless. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Reasonable prices for very good quality food. Will definitely be visiting again very soon.
Attentive service, gorgeous Sunday lunch, & a lovely birthday treat for my husband. Wish we'd been sat by the window but still got to enjoy the view. Loved the smoked cod starter - so tasty!
Really nice modern decor and friendly staff. Had beef Sunday lunch, the meal was lovely but the quantity and selection of vegetables provided could have been better. Two courses for £14 was good value.
My wife and I enjoyed a great meal, well cooked well served in a very pleasant ambience. We will go to the Brasserie again next time we are in Middlesbrough .
A really lovely evening with friends, the place its self is relaxing and lovely. The food was good and tasty served hot and well presented. The wine was good and the cocktails. . Staff were very pleasant and helpful. We will be returning.
Horrendous! Sat near the entrance surrounded by people just drinking, literally had people stood over our table, couldn't have a conversation because it was so noisy, the menu online is NOT what they offer inside despite asking they declined. Just really poor, first and last time
The service was amazing, the food was delicious and the restaurant itself is beautiful. I would fully recommend Brasserie Hudson Quay without any hesitation at all.
Super setting -great table looking out at the quay, lovely food - a traditional Sunday lunch with the best gravy I've ever had in a restaurant plus great service. Terrific.
I had yet another lovely experience dining at the Brasserie. The food, wine and service was all amazing! We were a party of twelve celebrating a birthday & the staff were happy to bring out a cake, that we had provided, at the end of the meal.
Great food and the staff are nice and friendly however this place prices itself as a higher end dining experience, the service in comparison to most places we eat was almost comical. I don't want to criticise the staff as they seemed nice and were genuinely friendly but you need to train them... If i buy nice champagne i don't expect to pour it myself every time an ice bucket would be nice not a bucket of cold water, every time we finished a course we had to look our dirty dishes for 20 minutes. However the food was good enough that we would go back.
Really good best restaurant in middlesbrough. Food was great service was great and the surprise in the toilets Stephen fry reading Harry Potter over the speakers :)
Great place with excellent food. Worth visit ing if you are in the area. Taxi from centre £3 so don't let position put you off. Only a 20 min walk back
We very much enjoyed our visit to BHQ. The staff were friendly, efficient and attentive. The food was well prepared, presented, and of very good taste. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.
Great food & very attentive staff. Only criticism is that the parsnip was over cooked. However the beef was cooked to perfection! Will definitely return.
Best restaurant in middlesbrough by far excellent food excellent ambience !! Always a pleasure to go back again and again , fully recommended to everyone
The meal was nice. However we booked a table for 2 and we were seated in between 2 groups of 4. We could hardly hear each other speak. Not suitable for a candle lit dinner for 2 so to speak.
Nice, some staff need more training as one girl forgot we'd even ordered drinks for 20 mins and they weren't handing out the tapas properly, just threw it on our table for us to figure out what was what! Gorgeous restaurant though.
Lovely friendly staff & a very relaxed atmosphere. Our party was made up of 3 generations and everybody enjoyed the food, drink & the whole evening.
Nicely decorated, good food and great value if you take advantage of one of the promotions. Although it seems to be in a more 'industrial' location, the panoramic view from the rear window is great.
Great food and a nice atmosphere, making it a cut above the rest, with great offers during the week, making it quite affordable for top food and great service.
1st visit and very impressed, great atmosphere and food, with excellent service. The location was very good with views over the river Tees and local landmark "the hoops". Would definitely recommend this venue either for food or just a nice place to unwind with a coffee or glass of wine.
