Food was freshly cooked and we'll presented , everything we had was tasty and of a high standard ,only issue was that some of the food didn't arrive as it was on menu ,ie, one of our party ordered the lamb rump with vegetables and mash and it was served with chips . Wine was expensive .

Lovely Christmas meal with friends. All the food was tasty, and the staff really nice. Not a place if you are in a hurry, but great atmosphere and cocktails.

Dry sandwiches and scones on afternoon tea we complained but no one cared no alternative or replacement offered,slow and poor service and overpriced most disappointed

As always, a lovely place to eat and drink with a great atmosphere.

My daughter wanted to have brunch at Browns on her 18th birthday. I delivered all the usual table decs, cake etc prior to our arrival and asked the staff if they would kindly decorate our table. Sure enough upon our arrival the table looked lovely. The food was really nice, and well presented. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and we were even given a complimentary glass of Bucks Fizz each. Overall a very pleasant experience and we will definitely return!

Had a lovely evening. Food was amazing. Service was fantastic. Browns had a fab atmosphere. Will definitely be returning soon. Topped off the evening with amazing cocktails.

Fantastic place really homely and atmosphere just perfect - the staff are lovely especially our waitress - Jess was really conscientious such an asset to Browns 😉

Fab food, great atmosphere, lovely staff. Perfect evening! Had the hanging kebabs which was delicious and super filling. Love the way the place is decorated.

Tepid food, waiter spilled drinks on the table and never came back to wipe it up, having to go to the bar for drinks twice, one meal being 10 mins after the others because they’d put butter in it despite them knowing I was lactose intolerant, and the waitress generally not giving a hoot about any of it- we won’t be rushing back!!

Excellent food and service. The staff were very polite and always checked that we had everything and asked if we need anything else. Food was beautiful. Thank you for a lovely evening 😊

I had balloons on the table, it was set in a nice quiet area The food was absoloutley beautiful, great friendly staff. I live round the corner it was the first time iv ate there but i will definetly go again! X

We had a lovely meal which consisted of battered prawns, mushroom soup, fish and chips and mushroom burger and chips. Extremely good table service too.

Service was excellent as too was the food. Brown's continues to be an excellent bistro. A perfect venue for a lunch with friends. Ray Skeemer

Food was ok, had to wait 40 minutes for the meal with only a few diners in it seemed quite a long wait. No ambience, no music although the staff are very friendly.

Great little Bistro. Service very good, food fabulous and great value. We all had fish and chips, very nice fish, proper chips and lovely mushy peas.

We enjoyed our visit, the staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was very good. My only comment was the length of time we had to wait for our main course after we had finished our starter. Although we did get a reduction on our bill when we mentioned it to the staff.

Our food was excellent only there are two similar sounding lamb dishes on the menu and despite pointing to the one he wanted, got the incorrect one. We will be back though.

I had a brunch meal at Browns with my young son at 11.30am. The service was fine for ordering but then the food took almost 45 minutes to arrive. The food was good but the bar wasn't busy so I was surprised at how long the food took to get to us. Otherwise it was fine.

Nice bar, attentive staff, well priced cocktails, presentation of foods very good. Had hanging kababs, suberb. Definitely going back for more. 🍺🍺🍺👍👍👍Booking the table was easy.

Food was good, but we were waiting over an hour to be served...even at 5:30 in a Weds evening...not a very good experience with 2 children in our party...

afternoon tea was lovely but the service was not good - arrived at 2pm and still waiting at 3pm for it to arrive - sat us at a cramped table - asked to move but said no even though by 2.10 we were the only party in the restaurant

Some of my party became a little loud. But the staff remained very professional and friendly. Thank goodness!

Had a great afternoon tea, the sandwiches were good and the were just so many cakes that we couldnt eat it all, so had to bring some home. The staff were really friendly, helpful and polite. Will definitely be going again.

Lovely afternoon tea and a fabulous outdoor area for sitting out, just the ticket for al fresco drinks. Would recommend every time. Will be back.

The service was a little slow but the food and atmosphere were pleasant. Pretty good value for money and somewhere a bit different to visit.

Arrived and was told they don’t do gift vouchers on a Saturday even though there was nothing on the web site to suggest this. They agreed to honour eventually. Lady on the seat needs to learne customer manners. Food not brilliant after all this cakes were stale ? Not a good expirience would not recommend .

Went for brunch for my wife’s 30th birthday. Food was great, people were lovely. Gluten free choices are really good. Prosecco wasn’t too bad either. Would definitely recommend it.

Had a very nice evening for our anniversary at Browns food was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend. Oh and the cocktails were very nice too.

Lovely relaxed meal, staff very curtious and efficient. Great surroundings. Cocktails were great and the beer excellent as usual. All in all a very pleasant evening.

The Food was fabulous and the staff were lovely and friendly and very attentive. The table was ready as soon as we arrived even though we were early and it was a lovely atmosphere in there.

Absolutely fabulous the food was quality and the atmosphere was brilliant. Would definitely recommend the afternoon tea and the cherry bakewell cocktail. Staff very friendly nothing too much trouble. What a hidden gem in the middle of a housing estate

Lovely atmosphere , trendy bar. Quick service , the lady behind the bar was amazing, seated us quickly and everything ran smoothly. Would definitely return , afternoon tea was lovely!

Great food, great staff excellent evening. My wife and I had an amazing evening at Browns, the food was amazing. My wife can't have dairy and there was plenty for her to choose from. Well recomended.
